Can we have one freaking special episode of pure Kathony fluff? Pretty pleaseeee!!?
I don't know but after all the build-up for the new season, it kind of felt too slow for me. I need more of Kathony scenes and I cannot give a damn over the sub plots because I was always looking for Jonny and Simone scenes. I adore the whole cast but the retelling somehow lacks that emotional connection I hold dear since I read TVWLM. Yes, we know it's an adaptation and all, but I so missed other book references (i.e. matchmaking Colin, Anthony's clownery, even the irrational belief of not making it to 39 years old, Kate's fear of storm, THE Library/Storm Scene). I love Pall Mall, though. And yes, the show captured the tension and the angst which I found lacking in the book. It'just that the drama gets too much that it changed the whole dynamic how the main couple get to be together.
But we got to take the good with the bad because when it's good, it's fucking great. I will be surely re-watching the last 3 episodes because show Kathony when out of their depths when it comes to their feelings is 🔥🔥🔥🔥 and that's classic Kathony for sure.
Lastly, give Jonny Bailey more acting awards because his breakdown scene is insane!!!! I almost want to reach for him from my screen because I fvcking felt Anthony's all bottled-up emotions just by looking at those tearful fucking lovely almond eyes and he needs no words because that's how good he is and he does understand the assignment. Srsly, I never felt so attacked! That was the vulnerability I needed from book Anthony with his mother. Boy oh boy, show Anthony more than just delivered.
So yeah, there's my two cents. I have mixed feelings with the differences and additional plots they made, nevertheless TVWLM still have my heart as my go-to historical romance, be it the novel or the show.
Too bad I cling on to moments, memories and people that when it's time to move forward without them, it felt like a missing limb. I'm stuck with the used-to-be's that I forget to live in the present... that I forget there's no other time but now that I must put my focus on. And while the past is still worth looking back from time to time, I should know that I cannot forever hold onto that. I need to carry on and be right fvcking here and now.

I don't know why but more often than not, I feel like I do not deserve good things... that the world is giving me too much of a favor and I can't bring myself to freely accept them.
The struggle of being an overthinker and never been good in speaking my mind. I know growth is painful but this situation seems to ask too much of me, I don't know what left of me I got to give.
What I would have to give just for a hug at this moment. I've been crying all day but damn these tears, they just never run out.
It was long ago that I resolve myself that if or when I end up alone in this lifetime, I'll be totally down with that. For so many times that solitude brings me a different peace, I thought maybe it'll be okay living the rest of my days that way.
But at this very moment, sitting here all alone... I felt it. I felt that stab of emptiness; of having no one to turn to and just thinking that someday this might be what I have to face, such thought brings a deep sense of loneliness that I broke down and continue crying my hearts out as I am typing this. I don't know but that possible future and then throw in to the mix all my current fvck-ups, I just feel so out of control of my own life. There's been a lot of triggers lately but I refuse to give in and dwell into them. But today, I can't bring myself to do anything. To say I'm tired is an understatement. I'm exhausted to the bone and I'm too afraid there's no way I'll be good again despite a long sleep or taking some time for myself. I just want everything to stop for a while. I want a fvcking redo.
Too bad I don't know if I'll do better even then.
I don't want to quit just yet. But I don't know up to what extent am I have to do to prove my place and be proud of myself. I'm fvcking clueless on how to deal with my own life. With my responsibilities. With my self-esteem. Oftentimes, I cannot recognize myself in the mirror. And it sucks to be so unsure. To have these too many questions in my head went unanswered. In the end, I only feel sorry.
Like fvcking right now.
It's one of those nights again, hmm? Those nights when you can't give a fvcking care anymore. You don't want to think of tomorrow. You feel so numb to your core that you don't even mind at all if you won't be waking up the next day.
Damn, wouldn't it be a pure bliss to just be fvcking gone?
