Well to be honest, Harry isn’t the most picky person when it comes to people he likes and is obviously more of a personality person. But, he especially likes bold people. I think he really appreciate someone who laughs at all the jokes he makes. I think it’s because you laugh in general and you don’t realise that half of the things he says are said in a not funny way but you don’t judge him and think he’s funny. It really makes him less anxious or insecure seeing that someone finds him funny.

There is nothing that she likes more than an amazing listener. She thinks you’re so amazing because you listen to everything that she has to say even when she’s babbling on about something that she knows herself isn’t that important or shouldn’t be too concerning.  Oh how this man, loves a funny person. He basically jokes all the fucking time, so having somebody tell me a joke around with him and make him laugh or that he can make laugh. Would definitely make him lean in more towards liking you. bonus points. If you don’t say the same shit over and over again, he likes things pretty new and interesting and exciting.!

He definitely has a type for the, quiet church mouse type. He thinks that they’re cute and he wants to find out more about them and always wondered as to why people can be so quiet and shy. So he makes it his sole purpose to find out more about them and get to know them and possibly try and get them to be a little bit more than a church mouse hehe.

He has a huge thing for Nerds. Oh my goodness transfiguration nerd? He loves it. Defence against the dark arts nerd? He loves it. Herbology nerd? He’s literally gonna fall in love with you. He likes to know that people actually care about their education and have interest in things and are able to teach people new things. He also likes to learn things from people personally, so being alone with you and learning things new? Seems like you guys will be together sooner ;)

I think Luna just likes somebody who is super kind, and I mean super kind, because Luna isn’t the type of person to get back at somebody for things so being with someone who takes revenge gets angry very quickly wouldn’t be her forte.  People who love animals, people who are kind to ghosts people who help others, just generally nice people, and then you got Luna wrapped around your finger.

I think he’s really into organised and kind people.  People who know that they have to do their athletics and also have to do their homework and study for the test and are able to balance everything altogether all the time. He just thinks it’s amazing and he really appreciate someone who has so much stability in their life and definitely like to learn from people like that to.

He thought it was a joke at first to be honest but when you made it clear that he wasn’t he was so giggly. Now, Hear me out. When Harry likes someone, he knows how to flirt. He says THOSE kinds of things like “yeah?” “Is that so?” Or “want to say that again?” And definitely calls you “love.” And honestly it leaves you weak in the knees. He’s so sweet about it too, makes sure to compliment you as much as you do to him. But don’t be fooled, the boy has his moments where he is just so flustered by your flirting that he doesn’t have anything to say.

He’s actually a bit dumb. i’ll be honest but he gets flustered but instead of his cheeks heating up he just says shit like “stop that” “Y/N NO?!” “you can’t be serious” “shut up” and he says it all because he doesn’t believe you like him or are serious. so when you tell him that you are serious he just says “oh” and gets quite and it’s a bit awkward for you both after a few days but he warms up about it and even flirts back sometimes!

“y/n what on earth are you doing?” she definitely laughs at all your little pick up lines and gives a little smirk every now and again. One time she lifted your chin with her finger and you forgot what you were going to say completely. “You know, flirting with me doesn’t work if you’re the one getting red.” She 100% flirts back but the only problem is you cant tell if she’s serious or actually into you so you have to ask her directly and she replies..with a kiss. <3

He immediately tells you to shut up. like instantly. It honestly surprised you but you continued anyways. That was until one day he gets close to you instead of dismissing him. He asks “what’re you playing at you idiot?” and you look at him noticing a little smirk. “you think i’m playing at something? because i’m not, i’m just seeing how far i can get till you give in.” Red. his cheeks are reds and he can’t fix them so he walks away. “Well i like games anyways, so maybe you’ll give in.”

Luna lovegood

Poor girl doesn’t understand if you try to be slick. With her you would definitely have to stick to straightforward and simple compliments! stuff like “you look really pretty today.” and it would definitely cause her cheeks to flush a light tint of red. Because you continuously compliment her, she starts to think that maybe you like her and because she just says whatever she thinks, she gently asks you “You say y/n..do you like me? because i quite like the compliments!” and honestly Luna would definitely be the first to make things more clear than the rest of the gang.

He laughs it off awkwardly a lot because he doesn’t think that you could ever be serious! You usually call him smart in Herbology and he gets very flustered and stumbles on his words. usually mumbles out a few thank yous too! He would DEFINITELY be the type to ask one of the guys or girls what to do about your flirting? Because although he enjoys it, he has no idea how to reciprocate without being shy :’]

He's a much better flirt than George i shall tell you that. He flirts back with you but will never ever make things clear for you until you say it to him directly. "Fred are you joking? why haven't you asked me out you idiot" you decided to ask him one day, and he simply replies with "why haven't you y/n?" and it leaves you a little shook honestly. He does dismiss you at least and is well aware of your little crush but unless you tell him you like him, you're staying friends.

Georgie would be on the nicer side luckily if he knew what he wanted. but hes 10x more confusing because sometimes he flirts back, sometimes, sometimes he doesn't, other times he ignores it. So you stop because you think you don't think he feels the same, and he gets really confused as to why you stopped flirting with him. and you ask him why he cares..and it goes on from there.

Cedric actually doesn’t flirt with anyone..like at all. Yes you’d think he does because of all the attention he gets from girls but that doesn’t mean he reciprocates it. Such a tease. It’s almost like a friends to lovers? He makes fun of you so much that you’re convinced there’s no way he likes you as anything more than what you already are. Friends. And you’re okay with that…at first. One day instead of his usual “morning stupid.” He says… “sweetheart.” And you have to brush it off as nothing, roll your eyes tell him to stop being stupid. But he’s suddenly being more flirty and you’re getting flustered. This continues and you can’t handle it anymore so you’re the first one to say something and he teases you about it. “I know, I just wanted you to say it first lovely.”

He’s a bit more chill than Fred. He obviously still makes fun of you but he’s really..affectionate. Helps with your books and complimenting you or giving you tight hugs that leave you with butterflies. He’s such a gentleman I just know it. This boy is opening doors for you and buys you cute things but it comes off so friendly that you don’t even notice. It’s only until some girls had started being mean and telling you to go to your “boyfriend.” (What.) “W-What boyfriend?” “Cedric obviously..?” so you tell him and he gets really protective and he apologises about their behaviour. You don’t know what to say because you’re extremely nervous so you of course say something so innocent and stupid. “Cedric…are you my boyfriend?” “Well I am now.” Bruh he’s so smooth i would collapse irl.

Yes yes Harry is definitely a shy boy but he will definitely not date you if he barely knows you or doesn’t speak to you, which means, you both talk on a regular basis!

You first talk in your 3rd year at Hogwarts in potions class when you are assigned to work with him.

He’s pretty nervous at first because he doesn’t really interact with people outside his freind group and usual has his mind made up about most people.

“Oi parcel tongue.” You call him which honestly leaves him quite shocked and at a loss for words. You notice his shocked expression and giggle which snaps him out of his state of shock.

This boy is kinda stupid guys..I don’t care what y’all say at all. When you call him that, he literally points at himself like “are you talking to me bruh .” Like obviously you nerd.

Anyways he asks if you guys should work at your dorm or his and you tell him neither. Instead you bring him to a wall behind the transfiguration courtyard and cast alohamora on the wall. The wall opens and he’s like what the fuck

You guys go in and he sees you’ve stashed a whole load of shite in it like snacks and a blanket and books. He honestly thinks it’s quite cute. “Did you make this place yourself?” He questions in which you reply with a bright smile and a nod. This causes the boy to blush. Heheh.

You guys start your work but honestly don’t get much done because you guys kept talking. Later He tells you it’s late and he “has to go” through stutters and just dips. “I-I’ll see you tomorrow y/n.” He says and you wave and stick your tongue out at him earring a smile from the raven haired boy.

You both meet up regularly at your spot, cautious to make sure no one ever found out about it. You enjoyed his company and he seemed to enjoy yours.

Unfortunately one day, he starts leaving earlier, then earlier until it’s “i can’t meet up today y/n.” “I have some work to finish y/n.” And suddenly he stops showing up.

You don’t think much of it until he starts to actively ignore you when u try to meet him or catch a glimpse of him in the hallways, only for him to run the other direction.

This hurt you and as time passed, you saw less and less of him every day. So today you decided to skip your classes and say fuck it. Which you had never done before but who even cares. Although You shrugged it off as nothing, you definitely wondered what you had done.

Feeling kind of upset about this, you Head to the transfiguration court so you can go and sit in the spot because quite frankly didn’t want to see anyone else.

You mumble out a “alohamora” and the wall opens to reveal a distressed Harry, sitting inside your hiding spot shaking. “I’m sorry y/n…” Your anger is replaced within seconds and a your expression softens

“Harry what happened..?” You say softly as you kneel down in front of him and hold his hand. You can feel the shakiness of his breath and you begin to worry slightly.

“I didn’t mean to run away from you, I was embarrassed..” he mumbles through soft cries. Your grip on his hand falters. “You- you were embarrassed being around me?”You say slightly hurt by his comment which causes you to let go of his hand completely.

His eyes instantly widen open and he begins to stumble over his words. “N-no! I didn’t mean it like that! I just..didn’t feel good enough for you. People saw me with you. You’re perfect, smart funny and everyone wants you so I couldn’t bare to ruin your chances at getting s-someone better..“

He goes on to tell you that people had told him that you were way out of his league and he didn’t stand a chance whatsoever.

Holy fucking shit. This causes you to just stare up at him intently and think. Why the hell would people say this? You’re angry for a moment but remember how Harry is feeling and so you hold his hands.

He’s honestly so appreciative of you and smiles softly. You don’t really think before doing this and cup his face about to kiss him, but you stop midway, nervous and wondering if it is the right time.
