People say I look like my Mom. The older I get, the more I appreciate it. She asked me once if I knew what my purpose in life was because at 80-something she was still trying to figure out hers. Today... Without a doubt... I'm sure. I know my purpose, my passion... and I'm 100% devoted to it. This week I had the good sense to listen to Jim Carrey's commencement address at MUM and it really made me think. It set the tone for my whole week & I couldn't be more grateful. He said at 28, he realized that his purpose was to "free people from concern." He said that "the effect you have on others is the greatest currency there is." And at that moment I knew... I not only make people look their best, I also strive to put them at ease & make them feel their best too so that in whatever they've hired me for, they are able to put forward their best selves.
