Summary: Each night, the moon watches her desperate to fall asleep, his heart filled with love. One night, she finally found him in her dreams. Yet whenever she wakes up, the moon disappears, heartbroken that she doesn’t remember him.

A/N:  so it’s basically based off of jongdae’s explanation of the she’s dreaming lyrics/the lyrics is implemented in the one shot. yes, jongdae is a moon, kinda. yes, this story defies all logic but let’s go with the flow. enjoy!

Every night, she had trouble with falling into her deep slumber. When her eyes fluttered shut, she’d be haunted by her inability to fall asleep. She would toss and turn, over and over again until she decided to get out of bed and make her way to the kitchen. There she would sit, with a book in her lap and a cup of tea on the table, trying her hardest to tire herself all over again.

But it seemed to be the only way where they’d have a chance at success when it came to rescuing you.
