Just in time for all of our sims to evacuate en masse to Glimmerbrook, I present to you the updated version of what was formerly (albeit jokingly) titled “The Occultist’s Ghoulish Creepy Spooky Steamy Veil Shroud.” 

45 swatches (the original version had 32), all properly color tagged. Some of them are more serious and some of them are a bit youthful or funny, but all of them pertain to “spooky” things.

All patterns were found on Society6 by @pastel-spells (who was named Plumbobsandrosebuds at the time, hence the name). The only exception is the second swatch (the purple tentacles)–I saw the green ones and wanted to edit it to look like Ursula because I have Disney issues.  The images belong to their respective creators and we make absolutely no profit from this recolor.

The Simlish on the “Bohemia” and “Botanic Garden” curtains is by the talented @quiddity-jones!

Quite a while ago, I recolored an edit of the Parenthood shower mesh by Renorasims.  Island Living broke CC bathtubs, and I’d already decided to generally avoid recoloring other people’s CC anyways, so here we are with a new version of the Rifle Paper showers.  I will not be doing a recolor on Renorasims’ mesh, and my old recolors no longer work.

Why won’t I stop doing shower curtain recolors? The world may never know. I’m releasing this next because it was already mostly complete.  The next shower curtains should be re-releases of the older curtains that needed repair.

All swatches are properly color tagged.

Any English on the images has been converted to Simlish.  The Godzilla swatch does still have what I assume is Japanese on it.

No superheroes because they deserve their own shower curtain.

Once again I’m celebrating my birthday Hobbit-style by sharing gifts with all of you!  This time it’s a wallpaper/tile combo inspired by this photo on Pinterest.  As you can see from the preview picture, the majority of the patterns are floral, and overall I tried for a vintage feel! With a few exceptions, I wanted this to feel like something you’d either find in your grandparent’s house or on Pinterest.

Do you like the new UI, but cannot get used to the new icon designs? This mod keeps all the newest UI changes while returning the icons we all know and love. 

The main menu now has the classic icons we all know and love. They do still match the redesign pretty well.

How To Install?

Simply download the package file and add it to your mods folder! That simple!

What Happens When New Packs Release?

When new packs release, they will have the new icon design. It will not effect the current icons. If another Simmer reaches out to me and redesigns the new icons for future packs, I’ll update this mod to include the icon redesign.

📝 Tutorial: Tag your CC objects using titles like a PRO ✨

This short and easy peasy tutorial will teach you how to hide text in the title of an object in the catalog. Why? As you may know, a lot of CC creators “tag” their items by including their name and/or the set name in the titles of their objects, so people can filter the catalog easily when using the search bar.

Exemple: Exhibition set - Standing label - MLys

In this exemple, people can find the object by searching the tag words “MLys” or “Exhibition”. Cool! But that title looks long and not really aesthetically pleasing right? Now what if I told you that you can keep those tags hidden? 

All you have to do with Sims4Studio is: write your actual title, put the “|” caracter right after, add a space, and write all the tag words that you want hidden (separate each tag with a space).

As you can see above, if you look for the the word “Pufferhead”, the result will give you all the objects from the Pufferhead pack, even if their title don’t include that word!! (but we both know that they secretly do *wink*)

The tag possibilities are endless without worrying about the aesthetic! If you are motivated enough, you can use this technique on all the bb CC you own, with the tags that personally suit you. On the picture above, I’ve tagged the item with the name of the CC creator @litttlecakes + a theme tag.
