I figured I should put part of this out now, so here ya go! It’s janky but it’s a good base line

So-Lo was once considered quite the catch among his peers, and he knew it. Rich, handsome, funny! He’d go out with any girl that asked him, which was just about everyone in his small town California  high-school. But thwre was always one girl that he couldn’t resist— Louise. She was horrible for him, and he knew this deep down, but didnt really care. She used him in every way possible, and affected him mentally. She was manipulative but he just didn’t care! Without her he’d cease to exist. 

He was considered “tough as nails” and this gave him a facade to hide behind. Truthfully, he was struggling with anxiety and OCD, but he kind of just thought he was going crazy. 

After graduation, with no one to validate him or smother him with praise, he was lost. He moved to the city (not cool city, just LA), but not without Louise trying her very hardest to keep him in his tiny hometown, where he knew he’d end up just like everyone else: drunk and alone, and tried to keep up his confident, tough image. 

Shortly after moving, his “accident” happened. One night, walking home from the bar in the rain he was struck by a bolt of lightning. Obviously he blacked out, being very drunk and also in immense pain, and he was found by a Good Samaritan and brought to the ER. When he woke up he was distraught. This image he had of himself, this unbreakable character, where was it now? You could say the bolt knocked some sense into him, but he really saw it as the exact opposite. It really had changed his perspective though. He had to get out of this city, it was driving him insane! He can’t really get that far though, so he ends up in a small suburban apartment. 

At this point he is constantly paranoid and avoids people almost completely. He cannot stand being in crowds of any sort. Everywhere he went, he saw her— Louise. Though now he didn’t remember her name, or even really her face. He just knew she was hiding somewhere, ready to pull him back into her clutches.

I’m making a boingoverse and here is my current design for so-lo! I also have sort of one for Jonny and Soul but those will come later because there is no coloured version for either of them yet. So-Lo’s lore is still in the works but I’ll post it soon enough. I’m very excited about these guys they’re so fun
