trippin', stumblin'.

     woman is picking at her cuticles as she walks into the café, pausing for just a moment to collect herself. she feels as though everyone turns to look at her when she walks in, but in reality, no one bats an eye. this is something that she’s been struggling with, but she’s proud of herself for being able to just agree to this meeting. there’s a forced smile as she sees the green haired woman waving her over, and she’s telling herself to not ruin this. “hi,” she greets the other weakly, one hand clutching onto the strap of her purse. “yeah, it’s no problem,” wanda tells the other as she sits across from her. “is there.. something i can help you with?”

         she’s  nervous  ;   of  course  she  is !  she’s  about  to  meet  her  OLDER SISTER  for  the  first  time  -  the  one  who  was  responsible  for  so  much  destruction  ,   death  ...  just like her  .   lorna  supposes  it  runs  in  the  family  .    “  i’m  lorna  dane  .   i  uh  -  well  ,   there’s  no  way  to  really   get  around  it  .  ”   pauses  ,   waits  for  the  other  to  sit  down  before  sliding  a  manila  file  across  the  table  .    “  i  recently  got  my  dna  tested  ,   after  finding  some  mishaps  with  the  people  who  raised  me  ...  and  ...  i  think  you’re my sister  ,   wanda  .  ”   well  ,   half  sister  .   but  a  sister  was  a  sister  ,   so  .  

     he can hear his heartbeat in his ears, eyes blinking as if he’s the one just waking up. a small part of him would rather that be the case, but then he thinks of poor chrissy and imagines her own reaction would be close to his right now. “i … don’t know,” he says shakily, clearing his throat. eddie wishes that he could be strong right now, but he has no idea what just happened. “are you … alright?” obviously she isn’t, but he doesn’t know the best way to handle this situation. 

         “  you  were  gone  ,   i  was  calling  you  and  you  didn’t  hear  -  ”    and  eyes  will  SCRUNCH SHUT  ,   in  hopes  it’ll  backtrack  her  words  .   girl  shakes  her  head  ,   ponytail  bouncing  as  she  does  so  .    “  i  should  .   i  should  go  .   right  ?  ”   looks  back  towards  him  ;   she  knows  she  doesn’t  belong  .   A CHEERLEADER IN THE TRAILER PARK.   she’d  be  the  next  nancy  wheeler  if  she  wasn’t  careful  .   still  ,   head  whips  around  ,   she  lets  out  a  shaky  breath  .   again  ,   and  will  continue  to  do  so  .    “  i’m  ...   did  you  find  the  special  k ?  ”   she  asks  ,   deciding  to  continue  with  what  she  came  here  for  .  

          “  it’s  all  true  -  ”   sabrina  says  with  a  wave  of  her  hands  ,   sparkles  of  blue  ,   purple  ,    and  pink  smoking  off  in  their  given  colors  .    “  witches  ,   magic  ,   vampires  ,   werewolves  - ”     looks  towards  @honeyveiled​  and  grins  ,   snapping  her  finger  and  salem  appearing  in  front  of  her  ,   meowing  .    “    believe  me  yet ?  ”   ❤️

         “  i  love  your  look  ---  ”   monika  comments  ,   spotting  the  newest  person  in  town  ,   noting  who  should  be  the  one  ...  who  could  also  join  the  literature  club  ,   no ?   that  was  her  SOLE PURPOSE  after  all  ,   as  as  many  replays  could  show  that  she  and  her  club  were  never  really  meant  to  last  .   “  are  you  looking  for  anything  to  do  after  school  ,   by  any  chance ?  ”   cue  an  easy  grin  towards  @knifvd​  and  she  tilts  her  head  .    “  you’re  new  ,   right  ?   what’s  your  name ?  ”    ❤️

         “  no  ,   lucas  -  i  still  don’t  want  to  play  whatever  new  video  game  version  of  d&d  with  you  guys  .   i’ll  just  call el  or  something  -  ”   maybe  she  could  convince  her  mom  to  let  her  VISIT  her  friend !   that  could  be  fun  .   turns  to  @rcstless​  ,   lips  quirk  just  a  bit  .    “  sorry  i’m  just  -  not  into  it  ,   i  guess  .  ”   not  into  much  of  anything  these  days  ,   really  .   🤎

        “  i  did  not  want  him  to  worry  -  !  ”   el  exclaims  ,   yet  another  argument  about  mike wheeler  breaking  the  two  .   both  eleven  and  @rcstless  were  basically  siblings  at  this  point  ,   but  it  didn’t  mean  they  didn’t  argue  all  the  time  -  if  anything  ,   they  argued  more  .    “  i  can  take  care  of  myself  ,   will  .  ”    🖤

          witch  finds  herself  in  a  need  of  an  ESCAPE  ...  somehow  now  always  running  from  the  town  she  was  born  in  .   perhaps  greendale  was  too  TAINTED  from   the  spellmans  ,   perhaps  she  thinks  she  needs  a  new start  from  the  town  she  was  born  and  raised  in  .    “  the  shakes  are  kinda  lackluster  ...  ”   sabrina  comments  as  salem  jumps  off  her  shoulder  ,   black  cat  stalking  towards  @roughdeal​  and  purring  against  his  legs  immediately  .    “  salem !   ”   sabrina  yelps  ,   chasing  after  the  familiar  and  almost  spilling  her  chocolate  shake  in  the  process  .    “  sorry  about  him  ,   he’s  always  getting  me  in  trouble  -  god  ,   i  hope  you’re  not  ALLERGIC  to  cats !  ”   ❤️

          “  ...  huh  ,   eddie  ?  ”   green  eyes  blink  from  something  blank  ,   something  TERRIFYING  ...  and  land  on   @hellfireleads​‘  curly  head  of  hair  .    she’s  breathless  ,   chest  heavy  as  she  places  her  hands  over  her  heart  ,   brows  crinkling  with  confusion  -  fear  .   and  then  ...  he’s here  ,   hands  on  her  shoulder  ,   GROUNDING  her  .   her  now  breath  is  shaky  ,   she  looks  at  him  ;   innocence  painted  all  over  her  face  .    “  what’s  going  on ?  ”  

         “  you  don’t  sparkle ?  ”   pixie  like  vampire  drops  her  jaw  ,   head  tilting  her  side  at  @tlkingtothemoon​‘s  blonde  figure  ,   curiosity  flitting  over  her  golden  features  .   will  speed  to  the  other  ,   head  tilting  even  more  ,   study  the  other  vampire  .   carlisle  would  be  losing  his  shit  ,   edward  would  say  keep  her  distance  ...   but  alice  cullen  is  a  bit  like  a  cat   that  just  won’t  die  .    “  WEIRD.   how’d  you  manage  that ?  ”    💙
