My first encounter with any X-Men material was on a random plane flight. My brother told me I should watch X-Men First Class for my next movie. I was a bit meh about it, and in order to convince me, my brother said "it's gay."

He was right. Henceforth, Charles/Erik was one of my favourite ships.
