not to reach dan howell levels of yapping but i relate so much to dan and phil in the sense that the years they were just kids making videos on the internet i was a literal child, living my life with no worries of others opinions. and the years that they were so focused on making good content, i was so focused on pleasing others around me and it resulted in me forgetting myself. and when they were on hiatus, i stopped watching because i thought it was embarrassing (boo, tomato tomato!). and now, as they are choosing to live their lives more authentically and, in a way, returning to their younger selves, i too am rediscovering who i am and what i love, regardless of what other think and openly being a fan of dan and phil:) its really amazing to see how much happier they seem being their gay ass selves and how maybe i can be that happy being gay and trans and a nerd and a weirdo too:) they give me hope for my future even when things get hard.
