This movie was so pivotal growing up as a closeted gay. Such a great coming of age film. Because of this, I began to delve into gay cinema and it was my only outlet to discover and understand who I was and am.
For all my LGBTQIA+, I think this is a necessary film to watch to remember how far you have come. We should always to remember to be grateful for our experiences. Even if these moments were negative or positive it is essential to learn, reflect, and forgive. If it was not for these moments, then you would not be the awesome person that has come so far.
