I was recently assigned by Soccerbible Magazine (in conjunction with BBC Sport) to photograph the FA Cup 5th round tie between Sheffield Wednesday and Manchester City at Hillsborough Stadium.

Been a ridiculously busy few weeks but nice to enjoy a bit of downtime at @doddingtonhall with the p.i.c

What’s your favourite photo you’ve ever taken? It’s a questions that’s pretty much impossible to answer for any photographer. I’m no different. However this one comes close. It’s from almost 2 years to the day in Santorini. The buildings stacked upon one another on the hillside with the most even light. The minimal colours pleased the designer in me. And on top of all that it reminds me of a scene from a ‘Where’s Wally’ book. Amongst it you can spot people going about their business. Definitely one I hope to frame some day.

I wrote a new blog post about how my content on here is slowly changing, the frustration it causes me and how I’m trying be a little bit better at the ‘social’ side of social media. I’m not going to lie, it’s horrendously written with grammatical errors throughout but hey, it’s my first blog post in months so shove it. 😝 Link in bio.

A little bit of the deep blue. Partly because I miss holiday and wish we were still there. Mainly because it fits in well on my feed 👌🏻

Back home to the puddles and the grey skies. Hopefully posting this will take me back to the past 10 days, if only for a moment. A brilliant break in the sunshine and now back for the busiest few weeks of the year. My head’s spinning already.

Amazing to enjoy some family time in the sun and give ourselves a little break. Some say that time is the only true currency, a theory which I have subscribed to for a few years now. It’s only since becoming a parent however that I’ve truly appreciated it. Juggling family life with weddings (@aaron.cheeseman), commercial work, college duties and the picture house company (@thepichouseco) mean that free time is as common as rocking horse 💩. Moments like these with my favourite people become all the more precious.

Boy’s getting big!

The Void. At last, the dark nights and cold mornings are almost behind us. This winter has felt like a real slog. It’s strange how the slightly longer days help put a bit of a spring in your step, not to mention a little bit of sunshine. Ready to do some adventuring with my tribe. 👊🏻

Family. Love this photo! I’d completely forgot about it until I was sorting some files earlier this afternoon. The days, weeks and months are passing far too quickly. This was taken back in October, when Brody was less than a month old! A month!! In a weeks time he’ll be 5 months and I’m struggling to figure out how the hell that happened so fast.
