ships β we have ... very strict opinions about which ships we are okay with being drawn for this AU, as we're both a fictive & a fictionkin respectively and therefore have strong feelings about it.
banned β any ship with atsushi ( esp. dazatsu , sigatsu , fyoatsu , & atsulai ), sigfyo, any ship with kyouka ( kenkyo is an exception ), tanizaki siblings , yozai , juni'sano , natsufuku
okay / dont care β siglai , soukoku , shin soukoku , atsulucy , juni'atsu , sigma x most ada members ( who are within proper age ) , kunizai , most ships within the different groups ( including cross groups ) ( ie. juni'hara , fukumori , fukufuku ) ( this includes polyamory )

inappropriate asks are preferably kept minimal , and only about characters above 18 ! same applies to simping asks . flirtatious and simping asks are also preferably kept OOC , or at the very least do not write a flirtatious ask while responding to a character scenario / plot scene .
we are also explicitly banning three year old jokes for sigma . he has a higher mental & physics age and we all know that .
usage of art β we do not mind our art being used for pfps , edits , or anything similar AS LONG as it is properly credited to either this blog or our individual blogs ( depending on who drew it ) .
we do not want our art reposted to other platforms like pinterest , even with credits .
fanwork β we are entirely okay with fanart and fanfiction , please tag us in it !!

Hello all! I know we're not much active at the moment anyways, but updates will be slower as Mod Exec lost its account.
On the topic of the blog however, we're also planning on changing over to a comic format rather than relying on the askbox! This means faster updates ( once Exec is back ofc )!
how does atsushi and sigma being swapped change the yaoi.. does it disrupt any ships, or change them in a meaningful way? from: a girl who cares about yaoi.. sorry if this is a stupid ass question

The swap mildly changes soukoku, with chuuya being SO salty about dazai picking up sigma and being all romantic with them. It definitely causes a little tension between chuuya and sigma as well. unless you lock in and go yeah they can be polyamorous (true). It also disturbs shin soukoku, but more in a sense that atsushi is an odd run-in akutagawa has with them while trying to go after sigma. The whole of meursault shifts to a more father-son dynamic, rather than the sigzai filled arc it is. I think it just mostly affects the soukokus.
( and just a very friendly reminder that in character asks for sigma are also open ! we like rambling but we also like progressing our story )
I came up with the original concept on a whim for more reasons to draw sigzai β which I later brought up to Mod Tiger who encouraged me to work on it further. It spiralled out of just β oo sigzai β to TRAGIC angst on all ends in some way. We further expanded the organisations , the characters , along with their metaphors and how the swap overall changes the story. Me and mod tiger have great fun working on it together basically every dayβ¦ #ourau. Additionally, Sigma and Atsushi actually have a lot of parallels between them which definitely made us want to work on the au more while working.
