Just drawing them in my style and also thinking about their personalities/ dynamic. With this I kinda landed on Bellamy making up a random fact about the land to wind up Gil, Gil falls for it and inquires more and Jay either correcting him fiercely or being astounded there are things she doesnt know about the land.
The Grandberry Pirates - Captain Edyn
Edyn takes Lizzie's place, and it was very interesting to imagine Edyn as a leader and a fighter! I think she would still be very kind to those close her but otherwise hold herself more coldly and sternly after going through a lot of loss in her years as a pirate. We haven't seen Edyn in combat but i wanted to give her a cool weapon that would be as iconic as Lizzie's whip so uh TRIDENT !! I wish i couldve figured out a way to incorpoate more ocean-y aspects to her outfit

I imagine Kira to be from a close neighbouring island to Featherbrook, adorning jewellery that looks similar to Jay's armour.
as far as i've seen Lui hasn't decided on who takes Marshall John's place. SO MY PROPOSITION TO THEE!! Ensa takes Johns place, John takes Filipe's and Filipe takes Ensa's. Ik it was already said that Ensa would be Filipe but maybe i just want some girls in a pirate crew is that so wrong. But yes Marshall Ensa! Ex-navy marshall which was inspired by Jay to live her own free life and joins Edyn's Crew. She wears her old coat around her waist and fights using hand-crafted explosives. (sorry these designs are pretty lazy im just having fun with the concepts hehe)

So i remembered how ollie gets older by using the compass and had it had me thinking about swap pretzel,, I think it would be interesting if the compass aftected her differently in this AU but i got nothin atm so i drew he older and omg drawing her so sad made me want to cry,, SHE JUST MISSES HOME speaking of,,
Dude Karina being Pretzels mom is so cute i died. I imagine Karina to be be a waitress or server of some sort who coped with losing pretzel by keeping herself busy with her job and working herself to the bone.
My idea for how this would play out- because i can't imagine Jay being the one to kiss either of them, why not just play matchmaker instead
