tonight was hard.

i’m grieving my life long best friend. it’s left me with so much sadness, confusion, hurt and grief. i feel angry and upset. i cried out to God. that’s all i can do.

i cried.

i journaled.

i ran a bath like i was a kid in high school again.

i sat in the tub and soaked in silence.

i got out.

i put on a big robe and laid on the floor.

i ate some ice cream and drank some water.

it’s not even 10pm yet but i’m already feeling tired.

i’m just now seeing this photo as i lie in bed. it feels raw. real. honest. and tender. innocent. pure. that God has given me the grace of purity.
