Ultimate Default Replacements

I had to make these into default replacements after the new kit released yesterday so I picked out my favorites for you guys to use in your game, make sure to remove any bra/panty defaults before placing my mods in your folder.

Bathroom Clutter Kit Fixes - [Free Download]

A small fix for two issues related to the new Bathroom Clutter Kit!

Mini Drawer Texture Fix: i have separated the texture of the top surface from the hair ties and bobby pins, so that the latter have a more 3D, separated look;

Functional Light Switches: Makes the light switches that came with the pack functional. They include all of the regular lighting interactions (Auto lights, turn on, turn off) and all of those include "Room" and "All", just not "This Light" as the switches are not lights.

“Neapolitan” Gshade preset collection comes with 3 different presets, depending on what you want the vibe to be!  (Click on the pics to enlarge the previews of them, I really strugglebus with formatting on tumblr, so bear with me! The pics are unfortunately not as sharp as they actually are, trust me, the presets look better in game) I named it Neapolitan because it reminded me of the trio of ice cream flavours I ate as a kid all the time. It also suits the vibe of each one, so that helps! 

“Strawberry” Is the preset I use currently for my own gameplay. It is vibrant and pops the colours just enough so it doesn’t burn your eyes out, but retains a bright and cheerful vibe.

“Vanilla” Lives up to its name by being just the right amount of different from the original EA vibes but slightly brighter and adds a pop of more vibrancy and smoothness.

“Chocolate” has a moody, almost autumnal vibe. It leans more warm, mysterious and I’m surprised by how much I like it in-game; since I tend to go brighter and vibrant. I should’ve taken screenshots of it in a forested area, but this already took my whole afternoon so, the previews are what they are lol

I am VERY picky about Gshade presets, and so I made sure that the things that bother me the most I fixed when I made these presets. They are as follows:

1) Not heavily blue-green, like EA’s ugly lighting

2) Neutralizes the overly yellow tones in EA’s whites

3) Doesn’t make sims look basketball orange

4) Doesn’t make sims of colour (especially black sims!) look washed out

5) Are gameplay-friendly, and don’t bleach out the UI in game so it’s unreadable

6) Are the vibe

ONE MORE IMPORTANT THING before the download: If you go into your game and you’re like “???? why is this preset making my game a little slow?” PLEASE go and click on your MXAO settings and turn the quality down. My computer by some miracle can handle it on ultra, but it can make your computer slow if it can’t handle it. It is easily fixable by turning it to Medium or lower depending on what your computer can run.

Also, I used ADOF for the screenshots, which is a depth of field shader, I turned it off, so if you want it on in your game, just type it in the search bar and turn it on :)

This mod increases the default household funds when creating a new household or moving in an unplayed household from the gallery, to 50,000 simoleons plus an additional 5,000 for each extra household member.

November 2022 Collection

So I often get NANA artwork pop up in my pinterest feed so I finally gave in and made some more casual, punky vibe clothes for your day to day sims with a bit of a fashion edge! Included in the collection are 11 items across my 25 swatch palette plus lots of extra swatches.

My favourite item of all is the super oversized denim jacket which is based off one I own in real life, available as both a dress and 3 top versions, one especially for accessory tops PLUS an overlay in rings so you can switch up the colour of the jacket! I’m also in my alpha lace era. The collection will be public on the 25th of November.

Investigations is a brand new Mod Pack for The Sims 4, currently in development. It started off as a Sims 4 version of the Private Investigator career from The Sims 3, but ended up turning into a kind of mini game.

For the series premiere, I sat down with none other than Deaderpool, the creator of Master Controller Command Center, or MCCC as you might know it. His mod, enabling Story Progression and intricate fine-tuning for many of the game’s rougher features, has remained one of the most popular mods in the scene for years and forms a foundation for many people’s playstyle. We talked a bit about how MCCC came to be, his motivations to mod, and where he’d like to see the game head in the future.

With the last Sims 4 game patch (June 18th 2019, patch 1.52.100.1020/1220), the Off-Grid lot trait has been added, and it didn’t take long for people to hop onto Deaderpool’s Discord so tell us about the items they thought should work off-grid, too!

One thing was mentioned to me by @luthsthings was that the washing tub from Laundry Day Stuff technically does work (as you’d expect it to), but you can NOT replace the dirty water in it! Why? Because it isn’t tagged that way (yet?)

Long story short, been digging around a little, and thanks to a little hint from LittleMsSam, I found the solution, threw it into a pack for you and let the magic happen! Your sims can now replace the water despite living off the grid!!

Note: It does NOT display as “working off-grid” in the catalogue. But I think you’ll give me this one :P
