vampiirebat:
Kol couldnât comprehend what she was hiding. It wasnât like coming back from the dead was something that others in the past hadnât done before. But, there was something in her eyes that told of the evils she had seen. Something no person on this planet had ever encountered. Not him, or his siblings. This aura that was as thick as hell fire and brimstone hung around her. âSome are remorseful, but then there are some who take pride in the darkness that they have alone created,â he was trying to explain in the simplest terms. The reason he believed redemption wasnât capable for anyone to reach. He may have been wrong, but to him the world was all different shades of gray. Only certain people were completely consumed in black. âTrue evil thrives from the pain, and I honestly donât think a person so vile would bother to atone for his former sins,â he explained thinking of the demons that clouded the eyes of the warlock. The kind of monsters that couldnât be suppressed. âNormal?â He let a laugh roll from his lips, âand what is normal Katerina?â Nothing. That was the answer. Nothing in this world or the next could even come close to normal. Because normal honestly had no great definition. It was different for everyone. Just like Love, and or happiness. âOh, but what youâre not seeming to understand is that I want your story,â he admitted leaning forward to really get the point across. âOnline? Honestly, I prefer live entertainment. Or you know, technically live am I right? Iâd much rather be told than read some nonsense tales over the web,â A smirk playing across his face as he raised up both of his brows. âI guarantee your story is much more entertaining, so long as you come out with it,â he didnât really understand the need for secrets at this point. Thatâs why he knew, he knew that whatever way sheâd achieved to get her life back.. It had been different. Wrong. And he was willing to spend all night trying to puzzle her out. âI have this astounding diligence, so no, I donât give up,â he shrugged hoping that she would start spilling the details of her return. âAlright, this should be fun, Iâll take a guess,â he flashed back to what Malachai Parker had said.. âYou make a deal with the devil himself?â It was more of a joke than anything else, honestly, he hadnât the slightest of how she was back. How someone with no one gained ground back in the mortal realm. âNow that you mention it, I havenât seen Nik around,â he let himself rest up against the cool steel of the bench, âbut Iâll be sure to let him know your back and wishing for a nice reunion.â It was almost like black mail, but really.. It wasnât like he hadnât stooped lower than that before.
âThatâs a good question Kol.â She breathed, head tilting to the side as she thought of it. What was normal to her? It was something she hadnât really thought of, she just wanted to feel as if everything was balanced around her, as if everything and everyone was okay, not that she cared, she just wanted to be in peace. To not have a n y o n e bothering her. Maybe to even be a Vampire again. She wouldnât lie to herself, she did miss feeding. âNothing being out of place, that is normal.â She founder herself saying and licked her lips. The brunetteâs gaze was focused on him, listening to every word which left his lips and she couldnât help but sigh as he said that heâd much rather hear a story from her. She didnât know what he would get with this. What he would win by finding out how she had crawled out of hell. It was something she felt the need to know if she were to tell him anything, but itâs as he used the form of blackmail in which her eyebrows pull together. âYou donât need to do that Kol.â She spoke, teeth sinking into her bottom lip as she tried to think of something, yet she didnât find anything good enough to make that idea leave his mind. âWhy do you want to know? Why is it so interesting, I just donât get why youâre insisting so much.â She said, a sigh parting her lips. âWhy is it so important? I just- I donât get it Kol.â
