Do you ever find yourself dressing up to just get chores done? Well, I do..and I do it quite often! HA! It's said, we accomplish more in our day based on how much effort we put into our outfits each day. I believe it! And I stand by it!

After chores, I met up with a girlfriend of mine for dinner and danced the night away. I never changed once all day!!!! The epitome of "Outfit Of The Day!" ;)

So, put the effort within yourself as soon as you wake up and accomplish and achieve the upmost in your day!

Ahhhh, the sight of complete white powder across the fields and mountain tops with the feeling of crisp air when it hits your lungs…Refreshing! 

This last week my Love (Bryan) and I had planned a lil romantic getaway to the local mountains of California, called Big Bear Lake. We both have only been up there to just snowboard, that we decided we would actually stay a few days and go into areas we have never experienced.  Lucky us, we planned to leave on our new adventure on New Years day…in which a huge storm just passed by a day prior..SCORE! We stayed in these cute one bedroom cottages (Cathy's Cottages) they are equipped with a fire place, a jacuzzi tub, a heater, all the appliances you need and probably one of the most comfortable beds I've ever laid my head down on. The cottages are only 3miles away from the town village. I highly recommend if you are thinking of taking a trip to Big Bear Lake! 

Anywho, new scenery called for another style shoot! As I was packing my bag I couldn't help but keep thinking of pinned stripes in the white powder snow, and white glasses with a rad hat and some colored lips! I just wasn't feeling my regular fedora hats I had in hand..I was on the hunt! I had a vision and I wanted it to become a reality.

I scored this rad vintage top hat at a cute boutique in the village. I spotted it from the car on the street driving by.  I made Bryan stop so we could park and go check out the boutique. Sure enough I walked out with two vintage hats in hand. I knew I had my outfit for our lil shoot to come. 

Pinstripes always remind me of Tim Burton. A funky Rock n Roll feel. I always think sexy, but funky, yet always a silhouette look. Crop top, tight pants with knee high boots, and a rad vintage top hat? Only screams, "LETS CAUSE SOME RUCKUS!!!!"

Here I am again, venturing off to blog. I've been through such a journey the passed few years that the last few months I've taken a moment of soul searching through adventuring into the lands of nature I've never step foot on. Lately my love (Bryan) and I have been taking lots of road trips to nearby scenery we have yet to discover.. it has become a collaboration between him and I. We came up with the concept "Adventure Never Goes Out of Style". We both love adventure and my first passion has always been styling… BAM! A whole new project came to our feet…

Bryan: "How about we adventure to new places we haven't been and you bring some clothes to shoot!

Ashley: "Heck ya! Like a style shoot out in the woods, or in the snow, or in the desert??!!!! LETS DO IT!"

So here we are…or should I say, here I am now feeding off our shoots to start my own styling blog! It's been so inspiring, refreshing, and liberating all at the same time.  I believe self expression is embedded in us all and I have found in my previous years that blogging was my best kept secret.  I have vowed to myself that 2015 is to be fearless and to do what I damn well please. Being a Cancer sign, I protect and cherish my "me" time and sometimes we all need to step back from everyday routine and break the rules and live selfishly to regain the love within us. I'm a huge advocate in loving yourself first before anyone and anything! So go on with spoiling yourself and choose happiness, as it is a choice. I'll have your back the whole way! ;)
