We spent the morning repacking goods at the #DSWD satellite repacking center in #DLSU. We were able to pack 38 boxes with the help of 2 walk ins Yancy and Chino (both La Sallians I think). We were lean, mean repacking machines. Hehe. We'll be going back after lunch. This is a 24-hour operation so if you live nearby, you can help. :) with @Olee_molee_donutshop

First time to go on Single duty since one year ago. Nakakatawa, the entire hospital and its staff was toxic wherever I went. All 4 stations plus the ICU were always busy, I didn't have a patient-free interval in the ER until 10am, thanks to the benign powers of my AM-shift nurses. If we were to quantify the toxicity of the duty... 3 DOAs, 4 intubations, 4 suturing, 3 debridement of hot asphalt (large chemical burns), 2 mortalities, a total of 60+ OPD patients seen in 25 hours, first time casting with fiberglass :) and a fully occupied tertiary hospital with about 3-4 toxic ward referrals q hourly! And this: only 1 real meal - McDo pancakes and hasbrown for breakfast, a handful of rainbow nerds and choco honey dipped donut for dinner plus 3 cups of coffee in 24 hours. Is it because it was the anniversary if my license as a doctor that I was *that* toxic?! I haven't felt this tired since Internship!

Every 9:00pm this app reminds me to post something that made me happy today. But aside from 2013's 100% passing and meeting a great friend tonight, I haven't had much happiness swing by me today.
