âSometimes I donât even trust myself,â Ana pointed out. She was prone to a few bad decisions so she wasnât always the most trustworthy human being. âVery calming.â
*Â âThatâs not very comforting after I trusted you and your spells.â Fae crossed her arms.Â
maxxgarciaâ:
âOnly if youâre ready to lose.â he repeated, nodding his head, a smirk appearing on his features. âI donât lose, sweetheart, but,â his hand soon reached out to take hers, now getting up from the bench. He was never one to back down. âAlright. Your funeral.â
*Â âWell, then how about a bet? I mean, if youâre so sure you wonât lose, whatâs the harm?â Fae wagered and started to move them in the direction of the closest bar.Â
You know, theyâll bring you another if you want. Youâre attacking that like a Wolverine. Sorry, I didnât have time to eat after I passed out in the Arctic.
maxxgarciaâ:
âOh, she is bold.â he was teasing her, amused that she was up for a challenge. He wasnât going to deter or back out either, maybe it was wrong to push as well as convince, but it wasnât like she wasnât willing. âHow does right now sound?â he was jumping the gun, but he was eager. If she could out drink him, heâd be impressed. âDuly noted.â heâd still call her Red, despite now knowing her actual name.
* âOh she is a lot more than bold.â She teased in return. Fae stood up and turned to face him. âOnly if youâre ready to lose.â She suggested with a tilt of her head and a smile. She moved her hand out for him to take if he accepted the challenge.

âYou can. Itâs just not always wise to trust things in the woods,â Anastasia reasoned. She recognized her though so that put her at ease more than she would be otherwise. âWhat brought you out here, Ella?â
* âAre you saying I shouldnât trust you?â She asked. âJust out for a walk. Woods are calming, donât you think?â Fae questioned but kept her distance slightly. She knew Ana was a witch and a witch who spotted the mark on Ella. She didnât want to get too close and have her disguise figured out just yet.Â
vindictiveloganâ:
âMaybe so.â Logan glanced over at the familiar redhead with a note of concern somewhere hidden in his expression. After she was attacked she had disappeared basically, and he had worried something might have happened.âHavenât seen you around.â
* âIâve been in New York for a couple of weeks seeing some family.â She was certain that was the excuse she gave Riley so that was an easy enough story to stick to. âHave I missed much here?â
maxxgarciaâ:
âOh really?â his brow quirked, as if surprised by the boldness coming from the redhead. âAinât gonna believe that âtil I see it, sweetheart.â he would only make that a clear set challenge if she accepted it. Out drink him? She seemed too fragile. âIf you gonâ talk the talk, gotta walk the walk, Red.â simple as. Of course he was curious to actually see her statement shine through, hence why he was trying to persuade her to do so, it seemed the done thing to do, after all.
* Fae let out a little laugh and smiled to him. âName a time and a place.â She challenged. Maybe it would actually be fun. Sheâd spent most of her time in Mystic Falls being good for the sake of appearances. It would be nice to let loose a little and not have to worry too much about what she says other than the right name. âElla, but Red works just as well.â
Doing spells in the woods should have been simple as spells in the woods. Hazel had been steering her toward dark magic, but with Hazelâs departure came the time to figure it out herself. She was about to try another when she heard the sound of footsteps and turned her head. âCan I help you?â
* Fae could sense something dark brewing a mile away. It wasnât hard to tell from looking at the girl that she was close if not already off the rails. âCan a girl not be curious anymore?â
âSheâs⌠gonna go in for that punch, shit.â he cracked a smile, more in feigned disbelief for his company before he rose his voice a touch, so the couple having more than a tiff could hear, âWhereâs Jerry when we need him?â now sinking back into the bench he briefly turned his attention to the one sitting near him. âI know you from somewhere, right? So familiar. You puked in the Hellmouth a few weeks ago, yeah? Was cleaning that up for days.â he wasnât, he was joking. It never happened. He was just purposely opening that door for conversation. The only truth was, was that he did know their face. The whole towns population more or less drank in that bar and he had served them all.Â
* Fae had been watching the argument from a far. It was intriguing how trivial humans were in their arguments. However, her gaze soon turned to the gentleman next to her who was not engaging in conversation. âDefinitely wasnât me. I could drink you under a table and then some.â She told him with a smile. In reality, Ella had been a lightweight but with Fae at the helm of the ship, her tolerance was much higher than most. She couldnât access any memories that the town had had any stand out conversations which meant that Fae could actually play with a little more freedom than with most in this town.Â

*Â âWhoever has never tried a margarita is really missing out...â Fae told no one in particular. Sheâd spent a good couple of weeks wrecking havoc in a couple of other states but it was back to the real world for now. At least, Ellaâs world. She had to keep up her charade but she was certainly no one would have really thought twice about where Ella had been anyway. Itâs not like she had any calls and sheâd told Riley sheâd had something to attend to in New York to do with her motherâs family or something. She didnât quite remember the lie right now.
vampirebrownâ:
âWell, Iâm glad. Itâs look amazing, Ella.â Sofia smiled. âOh, okay. Yeah, sure. Iâm alwaus up for shopping. Besides I havenât done that in a while, so it would be good to do something normal for once.â
* âThank you! Thatâs really nice of you to say.â She told her. Fae, of course, knew that Ella was good looking. She wouldnât choose an ugly vessel but there was also some room for development on Ella that Fae could use. âYes, of course. How is the whole vampire thing going?â
rileyjacemillerâ:
âYouâre welcome.â He chuckled, looking towards her. âOh?â Riley lifted an amused brow, wondering what favour this could possibly be. Ella never really asked for anything so he was already mostly certain he was going to say yes, just because it was her. âLock up?â He pondered over it for a couple seconds and gave her a slow nod. âOkay, yeah. Sure. I mean, why not? Iâll get you the spare keys later.â Riley nodded. He didnât mind and he trusted her, there was no reason that he knew of to deny her. âWhat happened to your cheek?â He asked, finally addressing the plaster on her face.Â
* Fae waited for a reply with eager behind her. She knew Ella had been a faithful enough employee and friend that heâd let her do it. âPerfect! Thank you.â She responded with a bright smile. âHow about to say thank you, we could have a pizza night. I make the best homemade pizzas.â Fae suggested.

rileyjacemillerâ:
âYeah, Ella, I keep telling you, youâre an amazing artist.â Riley curled the corners of his lips upwards. It didnât matter how many times he said it, he knew she would only believe him in her own time. âYeah well, they do have to like it for me to permanently mark it on their skin, Els.â He chuckled. âAnd as for credit? Of course, Iâll give you credit, you deserve it. Youâll deserve it even more if you do the lunch run today. I donât get a break till after one.â
* âWell... thank you.â Fae managed to say with enough self doubt mimicked in it. âI guess youâre right on that.â She commented. âFine, but only because itâs you... and I need a favour.â Fae started. It was the reason she brought in Ellaâs sketch pads. An excuse. âTheyâre doing some work in the apartment next to mine and I canât focus on my art. Do you think one day this week I could lock up for you so I can do some sketching here?â She asked. âYou know how inspired I get around your previous tattoos...â In actual fact, the demon wanted to tattoo a demon trap on Ellaâs body. It was a self preservation method and especially with the number of hunters that Ella knew, it was a safety precaution. If she could demon trap herself in to her own vessel, if they tried to kill her, they would only kill Ella in the process.

âThree vampires? All by yourself? Thatâs⌠Wowâ, William had no words. He had no idea Ella got that good in hunting supernatural things, especially after her experience in NY. âAlright, letâs go to the Grill then. On me, you deserved itâ, he smiled and fished his phone to send a quick text, âLemme tell Maddie to not wait for meâ, but instead he texted Aria.
* âI think the adrenaline kicked in but I wouldnât have that knowledge if it wasnât for you.â Fae congratulated him if not to boost his ego a little. It was bound that at some point people would work out Ella wasnât in fact Ella so it would hurt people more if they thought they had helped Ella when really, they had just let her down like everyone else had let her down. She could hear Ella screaming for someone to notice. âNo problem.â She told him and started to move in the direction of the Grill. âHow have you been? How have things been with that vampire you mentioned before? The one you cared about?â
