I just found out that no matter what grades I get in my next exams for A&P, it won't bring me up to an A :(

Sonography vs Radiography
When I first started this journey, I really wanted to go into ultrasound, but the nearest sonography school was 1 hour away. I was not ready to commit to an hour commute when I was on the fence about changing my major again. I decided to take my prereqs at a local tech college that only offered radiography.
The plan was to get a degree and certification in radiography and then pursue sonography. I heard it's easier to go from RT to US than the other way around. Turns out, the radiography program is very competitive. I will have to make all A's and over a 90 on my teas. Many of my classmates are retaking A&P in hope to raise up their grades.
I guess the plan is to apply to both programs when Spring comes.
Introduction
Hi! I won't reveal too much of my name or personal information in case someone I know finds this. Here's my background so far: I graduated in 2022 with a couple AP and dual enrollment classes under my belt. It wasn't enough to help me graduate early, but I had a grasp of what college-leveled education was like. I started with a major in mathematics statistic at a small town university. I found very quickly that I could not grasp Calculus. I took three classes, and with the last two, I had made a D or C. Looking back, I could've used better study methods but that's in the past now. I don't know what career I would've really had. After 2 years, I transferred to a metro university with a major in interactive design. It was a major focused on designing optimal interfaces and experiences for the typical user. I really enjoyed! It combined my love of technical and creative work. Sadly, all my professors warned me that it was going to take more than good grades and hard work to actually secure a job. The major was very niche in that not many people knew about it, but that meant not many companies were hiring for it. There was a lot that I could do with interactive design, but who knows when I would be able to get the career I really wanted? With the current economy and job market, I wanted to find something more secure and stable.
If I had stuck with my original major, I would be preparing for graduation by now. Which also meant my friends were graduating or about to graduate. My high school friend graduated from nursing and she commented on how well my bed manners are. I was already looking for quick certifications to find a new job while I decided on a different major, so I looked into different technical schools.
That brings us here to today. Currently, I am trying to decide between pursuing sonography or radiography tech school. I am taking my prerequisites at a technical school and would apply to programs Spring 2027 .

Hi! I'm writing this in hopes that someone and no one finds this (who still uses Tumblr anyways?). I'm hoping by starting this I'll be able to organize my thoughts and decisions and maybe help someone else along the way. I give to you: my education journey.
