The professor of my anatomy lecture class has the softest voice..i can't ever hear him over my fan.....
He legit sounds like he's trying to teach while being choked...
Guess who's switching schools to pursue a culinary degree?
Yupp, that's right it's me! For those of you that don't know I'm currently a freshman at Valdosta State University with a major in Mass Media... Let me just take a minute to say how much a absolutely hate Valdosta. I can't quite pin-point what it is exactly about this place that literally makes me feel mentally ill, but I can assure you that whatever it is it's done a damn good job. Now, I'm not saying VSU is a bad school for everyone, just that I -personally- do not mesh with this place at all.
Back to the main topic! I have always dreamed of pursuing a career in Culinary Arts and eventually raising enough money to open my own bakery. My parents on the other hand always seemed less thrilled with this idea and somehow managed to get me into VSU without me actually ever sitting down and thinking over what was going on... Welllllll recently I had this epiphany that culinary is seriously what I want to do and that VSU has absolutely nothing that would contribute to this plan. So, with lots of begging and pleading with my parents I got them to agree to let me change schools! The were so willing for two reasons 1: They both switched colleges after freshman year on account of epiphanies in sudden life choices and 2: They both know that I'm talented at culinary and know I'm serious about it.
The Gist: I'm moving back home and attending Chattahoochee Tech for an associates degree in culinary arts and seeing if I can work in a local bakery. (Oh and did I mention that it's like 50 billion times less expensive than VSU if not full-ride?) Obviously I'm doing something right for once.
