#sonography

Today was my first in person day at my new job! It was still mostly sitting in front of a computer, but it was nice! The hospital is massive and I know I’ll get lost the first month or so that I’m on my own. Everyone I’ve met so far is super nice. This company is amazing and all about fostering a place of belonging for all types of people, and it shows. I’m allowed to have fun hair, as long as it’s not too over the top, and can have my lipring in as long as it’s a small stud, for safety reasons. I saw so many people with tattoos, piercings, and fun hair, as well as ethnicities and LGBT+. I’m so glad they reached out to me and offered me this job. I think I’ll like it once the butterflies settle.

but we've got less than 3 weeks before clinicals and im getting both nervous and excited. im on my way to being a sonographer :)
