Continuing with the theme of the #inktober52 prompt challenge, I combined the prompts: - #Brick #Snake #Balloon #Hammer #Dinner #Spider #Wave - Looking at the list, I also realised it also uses the first two prompts: #shadow and #flight! Total accident on that one. - Balloon was the hardest to incorporate into the list, trying to do an image from 2,500 years ago... Then I remembered that when spiders use their silk to float on the wind, that's called ballooning. JACKPOT! Starting a new series drawing ancient Persian animals from @thegoldentroupe! First up is Rioxia. She is a leusistic Persian King Cheetah. That makes her different from other cheetahs in a few ways. One is that she has stripes instead of just spots. They are a light blue, which goes along with the second thing- her leusism makes it so she has lighter pigmentation compared to other cheetahs. She’s not albino though, since she still has some colour. It doesn’t stop her out in the desert, but in the forested areas, she has a harder time blending in. #Inktober: #Build. Building trust can be hard to do... This card got a little bent. I threw it away, then I realised I could do that technique with paper I did back in middle school where I’d crumple up a paper so many times that it would feel soft and the texture could be a part of the image rather than detract from it.
