The missions the sanctuary has been sending the Stellar Squad on link to lessons Sun & Moon would need to learn in order to properly function alongside the haven/sanctuary

Actually more Sun with the missions, Moon with the people he's working with

The apocalypse taught the harsh reality of letting go, dimensional shifts and how they differ, how to gain allies and when to lose them-

This one seems to be teaching him patience, manner, when to speak in front of higher ups, and both are boosting his magic usage.

Moon on the other hand is being treated as an inferior equal, one that's finally being guided through emotional hardship with Carmes help- but he's still actively learning. Teaching him to be more dependent on others- shown with his memory knowledge sitting in the hand of Rusts scientists- and eclipse at one point—

to speak to them respectfully, because truly they're deciding the worst of where they end up. This is shown with KS- and then after. These "side quests" that Moon is going on are developing care, that'll eventually balance out the mix between dependency on others to get a problem fixed and how to care for people so it's not their responsibility.

It's all planned!!

Also- second theory that I don't wanna put in another post— each arc and mission potentially putting pressure points on each characters strengths and weaknesses which I assume will build up to Tyrant,

As the Apocalypse arc was very weapons based (Carme) and it led to him getting infected

The God AU is very magic based with an over structured hierarchy and cruel leadership (Dahlia)

And I am unsure how a high school au would work- as what are 4 fully grown animatronics gonna be doing there- however I'd assume it would play with Moons knowledge with whatever it goes- technology based??

And then Tyrants entire arc could center a bit more around the Withershards with the lessons Sun had learnt, like blackmail I suppose!

I LOVE the idea of Sun being Tyrants right hand man—

But imagine he's also his weapon, like how Darks dragon is?

His weapon and protector that raises him at equal power with the sanctuary (the dragon) and the haven (the shards)

Witherstorm Sun is SOOO cool to me

Especially since Dark had adapted HIS dragon so much to HIM- imagine that except with Sun & Tyrant

Sun would be undeveloped in this concept- and he slowly would become more and more prominent- blood thirsty-

Harsh, douchey, secretive- he'd subtly develop things like a hoard, he'd begin eating raw meat- which goes against all of his morals!!! Sun refuses to eat uncooked meat!! Especially after July 16th- oh to get him to eat meat at all was nauseating!!

Except it did form!

He'd develop a hatred towards everyone- ESPECIALLY MOON. Any past mistake- any fumble- he's always end up defensive, because there's always a reason- and it's only his fault when it links to NSP. (Ex. Razzle, Nexus) his sympathy lies exclusively with them.

Then he'd lose interest,

Then eventually he's just..Loyal?

Sun leading Tyrants army knowing exactly what he's doing except oh how much he loves his king type of thing. TGWDLM ends up where he's just hollowly watching as his own body does as instructed.

That would make me really happy.

I wonder if it would weaken the dragon,

Or weaken Sun.

Kill them both as soon as Sun snaps out of it,

Someone on the discord server mentioned that Moons memory wasn't just fading, but also rewriting itself to fill in the blanks.

I hypothesize that Moons memory is rewritten based on the other years KS had to use to defeat Nexus, as KS needed a deliberate contract with Moon- as well as the energy of the other Moons he had taken. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a temporary soul bind issue that led KS to Moons memory loss knowledge, as well as a subtle telling to Moon that he didn't want to go through the effort of restoring what was already being replaced and filled in. Especially with Moon being so protected- that there was no benefit to KS to help apart from waiting for the family to take note that he was slowly filling in different blanks and to eventually kill him off themselves.

I imagine this could work as a theory because Jack still managed to remain a constant in Moons memory, and nexus seemed to blank, as if he wasn't there initially. Especially with how he reacted in particular.

If this is the case, going back to a point that keeps being made in the show— this could help Moon come to the realization that not only are not all versions of himself the same, but generally among the family- that not all AUS are the same, and may play out differently. He's regressing back to how he was, but also sits at the basis of how he's expecting a Moon to act.

Especially with the last two lore episodes.

With Moon comforting Carme based on what he would feel best with ( with his emotions being brought back) based on his version of empathy (which also brings 'all Moons being the same' back into the mix)

And Sun speaking so bluntly with Joy despite it being something she may have already come to realization to and simply WASN'T the right thing to say at the time— (which was in fact too much to say at once- and to put Mel in such a view without knowing her personally is exactly how a Moon variant he'd be familiar with has acted. Ex. BOTH MOON AND NEXUS)

Both are working with each others logic that simply doesn't work for their initial personality types,

Moon comforting empathetically and Sun- logistically,

It simply doesn't work, especially with their audiences!! However it's what both have built into over time.

With Moon trying to work with more emotion than he's ever been programmed to fathom, especially when he's losing his memory at the moment and is slowly falling back into the past, he's regressing and it's terrifying him. It's expected of him to get better, except a lot of his actions often show no specific need for change. Except he wants to be a better brother, he does WANT to change, and recovery is a rough road.

In both a comparison and a contrast, Sun is also, reverting back to the past. He's taking note of how he's changed– how others have been impacted by the same causes in a different font, not taking in that not all of them develop the same as him, even if he'd view it as similar. His emotions seem to be naturally nullifying themselves just because of what he's seen, what he's been through. As if the vault Moon had worked so hard to shut tight is slowly tearing away and dissolving at Suns emotions.

Sun seems to be reflecting on that a lot throughout the episode, and although he means well, the general message that went through was far too straight forward. (Something Sun had initially struggled with a lot, when Moon was speaking to him.)

With such a stable support system that the both of them had never had before, they aren't quite sure how to manage it, especially when they're exposed to the direct consequences of their actions built up on their mistakes. Between their family, Carme, Dahlia- etc! They seem to be ignoring it, or not optimizing on how they need to so they can get better— happier, instead of acknowledging whatever problems they have and giving up.

I do wonder if Sun is jealous that Moon is being exposed to this support system when he needs it most, when Sun had to bottle it up and cope during his harshest moments and the closest he had is now dead- (Atles) and then- replaced- (Dahlia)- which is exactly how he displayed such frustration towards Joy, through how he would need to be talked to. He was projecting unethically, which is awfully similar to how Moon treats Nexus now.

Moon, in contrast, seems to be developing his level of empathy, except more in the sense of how he would handle his past self with emotion. As now he HAS emotion, except he's still trying to guide himself through it, and with his only guide that'll sit down and help him blanking, he resorts to anything else he has.

I feel as if this also puts some sort of accomplis between the two councils, if not tyrant himself.

I've seen people mention Sol & Wheatley a lot, I'd think those two are plausible for this?

Since Dahlia and Carme both have issues with fire, implied to be at the absolute LOWEST points in their lives— (Dahlia with his arms, Carme with the circus burning down– both directly leading to how they'd reach their respective locations among the sanctuary/haven) if it properly takes course, considering how the two may act would be less driven by logic and more by stress, pressure, and emotion.

And since there's been no proper training on how to act during missions (still), with the lack of dimensional etiquette Sun and Moon have, without guidance for Sun and Moon, with Sun still being a novice in most magic forms, and Moon progressively losing his memory and entering episodes of panic which have ALREADY been taken advantage over once, a mission set up for failure would be awfully easy to set up.

Carme and Dahlia, also based in panic, would probably instruct based on how they'd have acted during then, with Carme (I'd assume) fleeing to escape, and Dahlia acting on old procedures, which may not work very well for Sun and Moon- as they may not be able to follow due to lack of training.

Since Sun is going to be offered a position alongside Tyrant, I do wonder if his plan would include using Sun as a weapon because of this— as both Dahlia and Carme are decently high ranks of their councils,

I'd assume it would be decently easy blackmail if they're both in worsening panic and stress.
