There’s one more after it, for whatever reason.

In my opinion they could have left it open-ended with Sam and Dean just riding into the sunset, it was a good and hopeful ending, but apparently that wasn’t good enough…

Having seen the brothers say goodbye to each other as one of them is dying fifteen times before really takes the gravitas out of it, and I really felt like I had heard it all before.

The montage of Sam’s life was... painfully cliché. 

Not quite as painful as the second version of Carry On My Wayward Son, though.

All in all it just tried to wrap up things that didn’t need wrapping up and felt entirely unnecessary. It would have been better to just leave it open after episode 19 and let people imagine whatever they wanted.

Headlines have to be as streamline as possible. Aka, they can’t include names unless the article is about a well-known public figure.

Those “water is wet” articles do more then explain what you already know, they’re providing evidence and sources that support/explain what you already know.

Example: if a group of people has been claiming to experience workplace discrimination, and a study is conducted confirming that they are, in fact, experiencing workplace discrimination, the study isn’t evidence that the researchers “didn’t believe” that the discrimination was happening! It’s just the scientific method!!!

Like it’s really not about “doubting” that group of people’s experiences or some kind of insinuation that they’re lying about being discriminated against. Especially since the research is probably just...asking??? people????? so you can be like, “we asked 3,000 people about the workplace discrimination they have experienced using the following survey questions, here’s the breakdown of what they said.” Like no matter how much you “believe” people you still need that information in an organized and collected format to actually DO anything with it

It is used by right wingers, usually Nazis and their ilk, to indicate that a name/person in question is Jewish or that something is related to the Jewish conspiracy 

A few Jews do use it in their twitter handles because like, a slur I guess, it’s something we can reclaim but I don’t recommend doing it unless you’re very openly Jewish because it’s just confusing and freaks people out 

a pretty easy to spot example:

Post: X company lost millions of dollars in revenue that year

Person retweeting post: I bet the (((banks))) were involved 

or 

Person: I wonder if (((Darwin))) was behind this

(Uh, Darwin as in me  not the evolution guy)

It’s not a joke, it’s not random or abstract or clever

like literally every other signal Nazis use it’s just annoying as fuck 

And if you’re a gentile who knowingly uses it because a Jew told you not to or you think it’s “ironic” or edgy or whatever

It’s a hate symbol and it can be legitimately alarming to see 

fine I don’t fucking care but just don’t whine when people think you’re a Nazi or something similar

my wife worked on an oil rig in Wyoming out of high school because there aren’t a lot of jobs that pay that well for someone without access to college. She was a driller and then a supervisor after the crew supervisor was killed during their shift. She saw multiple people die and loose limbs and she got pretty bad ptsd from watching a friend get decapitated by a chain that went loose and catching his head in her hands.

Shifts are often 20+ hours at a time with an 8-10 hour break between shifts for at least two weeks at a time and then a week off. Rigs are normally understaffed which make it worse and a lot of people on rigs turn to drug use just to be able to stay awake during their shifts. But it’s a job that pays a lot in rural and low income communities for people who don’t have a lot of options. A lot of people go in knowing they’ll maybe die but at least their families won’t have to work afterwards because of life insurance policies from the companies they work for.

I know this post was probably just meant as a joke post the whole thing with Joe Biden and fracking but like sometimes it shows that people who post these things don’t know a ton about what they’re talking about. It remains one of the most lethal jobs worldwide. Switching from oil/natural gas to sustainable energy sources will take time to transition and right now we have millions working in drilling with odds stacked against them. Republicans don’t care about oil workers’ lives because they can be used to make a profit and the left hates them because of a career they didn’t have a lot of choice in choosing.

Also me: what if Sam and Dean were aurors? Sam was a Ravenclaw and Dean was a gryffindor. They are good at their job. They took Vixen in and Vixen got along great with Dean and annoyed Sam. What if...
