Charlie's Page

This is Charlie. He is a half-husky and half-basenji mix. He is currently two years old. My father, sibling, and I adopted him in December of 2024. His old family had to give him up because he failed his service dog training. He was too playful.

I made this blog so I can have an archive of photos and information, and because I am a firm believer that he is the best dog ever and everyone should want to see him.

Look how cute he is! My father was helping his mother move, and I had to drive my sibling somewhere, but we couldn't leave him by himself for too long yet, so he came with me. He loves shotgun.

I'm fairly certain that this is the first official photo of "Charlie". He received his name two days after we got him, after a lot of consideration. Funny how all the mulling over of names ended with the most generic name anyone's ever given a dog. But look at him. That's a Charlie.
