You know I never really thought about it before, but the arc 4 emisuba convo in the sanctuary parallels the arc 6 convo in the watchtower.

In arc 4, Emilia Is breaking down because she doesn't know who she will be once she regains her repressed memories.

In arc 6, Subaru is breaking down because he doesn't know who he is, now that he's lost his memories.

Emilia knew how to help the same way he helped her, reminding Subaru that he will be loved either way

I'm trying to make my old re zero self insert into something proper, and i wanted them to be similar to beatrice but it kinda just looks like... masculine beatrice... 🤔

Okay, this has always been my second favorite scene in the whole arc, I LOVE how the used Stay Alive for this scene, it matches perfectly after Emilia recounted the events of the first season.

EMILIA'S EXPRESSION, she was so ready to confess her love, poor girl. And her face while holding Subaru while falling to her death, it's almost like she hasn't fully processed what's happening, but she trusts Subaru so she doesn't look that scared.

And omg Subaru grabbing her hand mirroring how he held her hand in that first loop in arc 1???? It took my breath away.

I'm writing this with tears in my eyes I'm not making ANY sense idc, this episode was beautiful
