Everytime I try to type out about how the netherworld will be if iruma wasn't brought there, if he didnt become a babyls student and study there and didnt become a misfit, I'd might as well write a story. Even if just the main points, so many character's lives have been touched and changed by Iruma.
Everytime i think back about an arc that we can exclude Iruma, or if an arc never happened, the pacing and the mindset of each character would have been different. Nishi's writing is truly so amazing.
Rambling below~
- Purson would still be following his original undetected life, but no one will know of his genius musical talent, nor be able to be a normal childish teenage boy and be able to converse with someone
- Leid would still be a solo player and only ever moving because he finds it fun through gambling and bets. Multi-player? Teamwork? What's that?
- Sabro may or may not have died at the Guardian of the Cutthroat Valley, but he would at the very least be injured badly. And even then, he would probably not mature enough that there is more than just strength and power in being a King or good leader in general
- Alice wouldn't even be in Misift class. He'll be in another class. He would be standoffish, will unable to connect with the...commoners...around him and has the thinking of a basic noble raised boy (whose also working hard that his abilities are also not merely because he is an Asmodeus, no matter how proud he is of his lineage)
- Clara...Will still be so alone. So lonely as she gets used, mocked, ignored by other people because of her very nature. And she doesnt even have anyone to talk to about it because she doesnt want to worry her family
- While used to it Balam would still be a teacher that is feared by his students(he is lowkey jealous of how Kalego is close to the misfits)
- While Ameri already had her ambitions set out and was already in good position, she didnt really have anyone she could be as just 'Ameri' like with Iruma, or be able to speak all the girly talk with like the Girls Meeting. Even just being in love, and in the arc of the personality change, she learned that she just have to be herself and she doesnt have to be more girly or speak gently just to be liked or connect with other people.
- Sullivan and Opera, while already have a close relationship, its still mostly a Master-Servant one. Iruma's presence is what made their little family a Family.
- the misfits itself, wouldn't be where they are in canon right now if it didnt start with Iruma pushing them with tasks and all together achieving Royal One. And learning the ability to endure hardships against daunting challenges. They would still be a class full of true delinquents that everyone mocks and show no respect for. The Royal One arc is very important, because not only were the Misfits able to learn that even with their undesirable abilities they are still wonderful demons with amazing potential. The teachers are also able to connect with them and finding out possible ways to teach them better too.

- also, Iruma had been their emotional glue. There are times where they all feel down and may even thought their work was useless, but a simple saying from Iruma had been enough to change their minds

This is a great chapter. The way Iruma revealed that he is human is entirely under his control(well as much control as he does), from the build up of telling his shinyuu what made him happy and to being selfish and asking them to search for him is so *chefs kiss*
There was so many things going on, even the adults who wants to help him badly(Balam, Kalego and Henry) are unable to do anything simply because Iruma has outed himself.
Though idk that collar that they our on him. Is it a special kind of is it just netherworld designed collar????

Theories:
Opera is there to stall as long as possible, ensuring Iruma's safety the most while Sullivan (who is aware of what is happening) is gathering up allies to help Iruma. Either to at least help him pass to the Human World peacefully without any issues(aka Iruma remains safe and maybe evevn ensured that Iruma will be well taken care of in the human world and away from his bio fam) or find a way to help him stay.

Kalego as Iruma's familiar (with manga spoilers) a... theory
Im kinda slow so I just thought of until now, that Kalego becoming Iruma's familiar is deliberately done and manipulated to happen by Sullivan.
Knightwalker (Kalego dad) and Narnia(or fenrir also kalego BELOVED brother) are very VERY hostile to humans, with Knightwalker wanting to experiment on them (as seen with Merize and Ameri).
Narnia, though i dont think we're still very sure (or I dont remember) his stance on humans but he hates them at the very least.
Kalego being Iruma's familiar is a security that even if Kalego were to end up following his family's footsteps regarding humans, he wouldn't be able to harm Iruma directly.
Sullivan saying for them to go home, Iruma being excited to go home.
Sullivan knows that the gates is a fr gate to the human world (cause of Merize) and, despite everything maybe Iruma still wants to go back to the Human World.
Iruma's firm stance on the Sullivan estate being his home, and his sincere reply to him, that Sullivan feels relieved that Iruma truly meant to stay, meant that he views the Sullivan estate as his home and in turn the demon world as well.

Me waiting that this will be literally one of the ways how Iruma extends his life. Demons are already long lived (hundreds to thousands of years), so a small portion to give to iruma would be insignificant. If many demons were to offer it to iruma, how long would he actually live? (Delulu)
- supposed to be my comfort episode but I started sobbing so badly i had to pause the episode to calm myself down
- the anime did the manga chapter justice and even went beyond and more with a full fledged celebration and we get to see all the gifts given to him

Everytime I reread or rewatch mairuma, I always think about my favourite fanfic trope: Reaction Fics.
And think how Henry will react to Irumerie scenes, where they are?? Actually progressing? Extremely slowly but its mostly because Iruma isn't ready yet(so many dates lmao). Or how everyone else who got closer to the misfits post-Royal One, see how they initially are before Iruma had spread his influence and they became this gigantic headache for Kalego. Or how the difference in maturity Sabro was before and after the flight test. Or even how Clara was before Iruma and how the Love Trio continue to get closer. How Iruma influenced many things that happened in Babyls and how so much will be different if he wasn't there.
Also, the many, MANY song numbers from the Valac family, Irumi moments and many more.
The way Ali-san should technically be one of the biggest shock, but aside from being sentient, his name Alikred and his voice being exactly like Derkila, he mostly is just there as his support.
Also, Eiko running around and people finding out that Eiko and Alice have an Iruma fanclub and they call each other comrades lmao.
From this, I could only think that humans the succumb to all their greed and desires and everything that makes up the current time demon, became a demon. And their RTO looks is the Origin point and, over the years/centuries, became more controllable and milder to a modern time demon.
Demon kings and their leadership is what it took to make a functioning society for the demons, so that its not purely destruction and desires being acted on.
Iruma's future as a Demon King(or just a demon in general) could mean that he will be an Origin Demon...maybe. A human so full of desire and greed, he becomes a demon himself. But he still has his kindness and what makes him human, so it makes him half and half, a blend of an Origin Demon and a human.
Also these are some of big ass wings for his size. Other demon's wings are proportionate to their body, like the azazels and balaam having bigger wings cause they have bigger bodies.
Also, his wings are part feathery and part balding.

Lowkey whats the possibility that Ameri got invited to the Deviculum so that her plans with Iruma got cancelled, so that Sullivan CAN bring Iruma to the same Deviculum?
Time travel plot where the misfits in the future were accidentally sent to the past. Accidentally, because the cause were some powerful rebel demons who do not like Demon King Iruma and wanted to change the past and possibly kill the misfits and the misfits accidentally got caught during the ritual and spells for Time travel. So now both rebels and future misfits (minus Iruma) are in the past.
This is a problem because the spell causes a flunctuation in the mana within the Netherworld and causes the unusual birth of multiple powerful monsters that its a problem that the past crowns and the DBP are having some trouble handling due to randomness of spawning of the monsters and the sheer quantity.
In the future, the Misfits were at a beach a private beach they have reserved where they can have a beach day and party, their long awaited vacation and hang out together. Imagine their reaction, from being in a warm and sunny place to being transported to their old classroom at Royal One as they stare at their younger versions and younger Kalego.

Was rereading the evidol games arc, and had a thought.
Future Misfits, still chatty and loud as ever that they like to talk about the different pacts they made. One of them is that they have to be there for each other's major events like weddings, to have engagement parties and even celebrating if they start dating.
Past Leid excitedly asks if he has a girlfriend, only for the entire Misfits to pause before deadpanning at future Leid.
It all descends to chaos, because apparently Leid is in a Love Corner where the popular MALE idol Beeber is actively pursuing Leid, so much so that the entire NW might as well know. But he is also interested in this girl Nupie (a kohai). It should be an easy choice... but!!!? Why cant he choose???
