Weird Feelings. Strange Traditions -AU-
Dess had known Col for years and even though Dess didnât remember it very well, he knew Col as a kid too. Dess had been missing for a few years after he enrolled in  a secret business, but when he found a way back to the bar he spent so many years at, he wasnât the same. It was like part of him had been stolen and replaced with a machine but when he got home he still some how knew this bar is where he belonged. He had been home for a year or two now and had been enlisted by Bar as his sons personal body guard. Dess grew close to col all over again, today the two of them were going out because col wanted to go out to the park. Dess waited outside cols room, and played with the glowing mechanics in his arm. âAre you ready to go sir? If you want to go to that coffee stand you like so much we must leave soon, It closes in an hour.â
Col exited the room, he was surprisingly sort of dressed up for once. Rather than the ratty old band shirts that Bar gave him shit for wearing he had on a nice button up shirt, and there were no holes in the jeans he was wearing! The boy had also combed back his hair and given it a fresh dye job.Â
He smiled almost nervously at Dess, he knew the man so well, but had always felt something..else.. for him. Lately that feeling had been growing stronger, perhaps it was from finally getting over the break up with the person heâd been in a relationship when Dess returned, and now he was able to focus on his feelings for the cyborg.
âYeah lets g-g-go. Iâm not missing out on that c-coffeeâ
Dess looked at Col and a soft grin came across his face along with a slight tint of pink. He was dressed in a white tanktop that col had given him and a leather jacket with some ripped jeans. His combat boots and his belt with the holder for his pistol. He nodded and started to lead Col out to the garage. âWhich car would you like to take today Sir? Or do you want to take the motorcycle again?â He asked curiously, Even though it made it where Col rode bitch Dess had a fun time driving the bike. âYour Father gave me one of his extra cards today, In case you wanted to go to the mall again. I told him about last time and deiced he trusted you enough to not go crazy with it.â
âMotorcycle sounds g-good to me. Much easier to f-find a parking space.â He laughed and started eading towards the garage. âWell if he g-gave you a card then.. m-maybe after the park we could go get dinnerâŚsomewhere n-niceâŚyou know?â His cheeks turned red slightly but he quickly hid it by putting a motorcycle helmet on.
âYou know Jade..er.. âMomâ still raves about that h-hibachi place we could go there or.. something..â
Dess lead him to the garage, and walked over to the motercycle and pulled it out of the garage and got on it waiting for Col to sit bitch. âYou know, that actually sounds kind of nice sir.â He said with a slight blush as he put his helmet on.Â
Col got on the vehicle and clung to Dess a bit more tightly than usual. He couldnât drive anything himself, never had the knack for it, so he relied on Dess for his rides.
âIâm g-glad you think so.. now, lets go!â
Dess gave a nod as he peeled out of the driveway, heading to the park at a fast speed heading to cols favorite coffee stand. He found him self a little flustered to have col so close to him.
Colâs heart raced, he wondered briefly if Dess could hear it, but he dismissed the thought and focused on clinging to him. When they arrived he continued to hold onto the man for a period of time.
Dess turned off the bike and stayed where he was, a slight blush on his cheek. âWeâre here sir, letâs go get your coffee.â
Col took his helmet off and got of the bike. he cleared his throat slightly then started heading for the coffee stand. âWhat would you l-like Dess?â He asked before ordering his usual extra large extra black coffee
Dess thought a bit before raising his hand a little with a grin. âO-Oh! that drink with the little balls in it? What was it called? bowlba?â He asked as he tried to remember what it was called and pronounced.Â
âHuh? Oh yeah we c-can get that.â Hee grinned, blushing at thee way Dess was adorably mispronouncing things, then ordered the drink for him.
Dess seemed to actually glow a little as he grinned. The blue in goods circuits always let off a cool glow when he was around col for some reason. âThank you sir.â
He handed Dess his drink then led the way to his favorite bench in the park. It gave them a lovely view of the lake that the park was beside, and the skyline of the nearby city. âHe Dessie⌠why do you s-stick around me so much? Like I know itâs y-your job but like⌠is it more than thatâŚ?â
Dess blushed as he looked at col. "W-would that be allowed sir?" He moved a little closer to col and played with his dog tags a bit.
