orpheus and eurydice as a metaphor for suicide. is that anything
your love dies and you need to move on but you can't live without them. you keep turning back to them, where they are. you start thinking about following them there, because you just want to see them again. you can't live without them. so you try and follow them there, thinking it'll bring them back.
then you decide to leave, and to bring them with you to your life, holding onto them but looking to the future, to the living world. but then you turn around, back to them. back to the world of the dead. and as you look back to death, their memory dies along with the life you could've lived carrying them with you. they're gone, and you're gone, and the life you had together is gone. there's only death left
