We’re the furry (and shelled) babies our mom works so hard to take care of every single day. There’s a lot of us — two pups, two grown-up cats, three wild little kittens, a wise turtle, and a whole ferret squad. Our mom? She’s our entire world. We call her “mom,” but really she’s a superhero with messy hair and the softest heart.

We don’t live in fancy cages or big backyards. We free roam, cuddle up in her blankets, and bring a little chaos and a LOT of love into her life. Some of us came from rough situations. Some of us were sick or abandoned. But she never turned us away. Even when it meant stretching meals, skipping sleep, or quietly crying in the other room — she still shows up for us.

Recently, four of our ferret siblings crossed the rainbow bridge, and it broke all of our hearts. Mom tried everything, but she couldn’t save them. We saw how hard she fought, how gently she held them, and how deeply she grieved. Now we’re holding her up the way she’s always done for us.

Right now, things are kind of overwhelming. We recently lost four of our older ferrets, and it’s been heavy in every way — emotionally and financially. But I’m still doing everything I can to take care of the rest of the crew. We call it Snackstorm ‘25 around here, because honestly, they’re all unhinged.
