#Varian Wig #Wig Commission

Because I have a billion things going on right now, I didn't have time to take photos of the progress of this wig. However, it was super fun to make. You can see it at Blizzcon next weekend! Wig made with an Arda Matilda wig and a curly clip. The ponytail is supported by easily bendable wire, but was four wired, wrapped up. Inside is supported by the 'root' of those wires. A ball was added to the end of the wire and the ponytail clips hair was secured to the ball and layered for the right bushy effect. Easy to wear and the ponytail's height is adjustable.

**It look kinda huge on me, but the client is male and has a head 2 inches bigger than mine. :P

The battery for my digital point and shoot is broken and my DSLR's battery is lost in my boxes of stuff from moving! So cell phone pictures is all I have for now, Sorry guys! Anyway, here's the Nowi Wig Commission done. I put the ponytail over my shoulder so you could see the gradient. This is an Arda Wigs Jasmine in Platinum Blonde with a Luthien as a ponytail. I used iPoly Green to dye the wig. Took a little trial and error. The ponytail is clipped in with two alligator clips that have been sewn into the wig and the ponytail's bump is stuffed felt. It has extra clips for weight, but over all is not too heavy. The ahoge is teased a bit at the root and just styled using hairspray and a blow dryer.

Now time to express ship it for Youmacon!

Structure of the wig is complete. It will be tweeked a bit after I dye the wig. Then it shall be styled and ready to send out shortly.

Turning a lace front wig into a ponytail wig. Takes a while because this wig has TONS of hair that needs flipped to go up. And the hair needs to hid the edge of the wig so that it looks realistic. Tomorrow I have to add to the wig head to be the size of the customer's head, then add the hair to the edge, so it will fit his head the best!

Commission Complete! Fem!Apocalypse by Avianna Ear Plugs are able to be clipped in and come with bobby pins and snap clips of the customers choice.

The skeleton of the Celestia curls. I'm considering making it this 'short' so that the curls don't pull down to much. If I have more hair left over I may try to add more to the end. The curls will connect to a head band that will be covered by the maid's hat.

Here's a shot of one of the costumes -Claudette from Queen's Blade- I put together for Dragon*Con. It was probably the most skin I've ever shown in public so it was super intimidating, but well worth the work. I love how the armor turned out and it was very light weight and flexible because I used foam and covered it in fabric!

Pretty soon I will be getting some great photos back of my Sorsha costume. On the other end of the spectrum it was completely covered, in many layers, and the armor was made of leather and Worbla! Two great ways to make armor and I tested them out for the same con. Can't wait to make more armor in the future!

Finally got one curl done for Sailor Iron Mouse! Using a caulking method to make curls like this takes time, but the end result looks so nice! One side done, one to go! Then to add all the little things.

2nd attempt at Sailor Iron Mouse using a parted wig and a new method of making curls. I still have to add fibers to the top and the inside of the curl before I can connect the top of the curl together more like Iron Mouse's curl. I'm must happier with this. The curl isn't super heavy and will bounce around really cute.
