FEODOR CHALIAPIN bursts onto scene, wearing a SILVER CROP TOP, RED SUNGLASSES, AND A ZEBRA PRINT FUR COAT. He fixes his gaze upon RACH and spins his hand like a wizard.

CHALIAPIN: 𝓝𝓪𝔂. SCRIABIN:

RACH: Oh

RACH: Hey, Chal

CHALIAPIN: *wide sweeiping gesture* 𝒟𝑜𝓃’𝓉. 𝒯𝑜𝓊𝒸𝒽. 𝒜 𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓃𝑔.

SCRIABIN: Aw dude Chaliapin dude what are yuh doin’ he’s about tuh take out the trash-

CHALIAPIN: 𝔇𝔬 𝔫𝔬𝔱 𝔱𝔬𝔲𝔠𝔥 𝔱𝔥𝔢 𝔯𝔲𝔟𝔟𝔦𝔰𝔥.

RACH: …Okay?

SCRIABIN: *deep sigh* Dyuuuude-

CHALIAPIN: 𝒲𝒽𝑒𝓇𝑒 𝒽𝒶𝓋𝑒 𝐼 𝓈𝑒𝑒𝓃 𝓎𝑜𝓊?

SCRIABIN *in the distance*: HE’S YER ROOMMATE, DUUUUDE.

RACH: I’m. I’m your roommate.

CHALIAPIN shushes SCRIABIN with a FINGER TO HIS LIPS. (his OWN, not SCRIABIN’S.) SCRIABIN looks irritated.

CHALIAPIN turns to RACH and DROPS A FINGER TO THE FLOOR while MAINTAINING EYE CONTACT.

CHALIAPIN: 𝒟𝑜𝓌𝓃.

CHALIAPIN: 𝒪𝓃 𝓎𝑜𝓊𝓇 𝓀𝓃𝑒𝑒𝓈.

RACH: Wh, why?-

CHALIAPIN: 𝓓𝓞𝓦𝓝.

RACH *getting down*: OKAY, ALRIGHT- SCRIABIN: DYYYUUUDE THIS IS ABSURD

CHALIAPIN takes off his GLASSES.

SCRIABIN: What’re yuh doin, he’s tryna f*ucking take out the trash, and-

CHALIAPIN: DO NOT SPEAK UNLESS SPOKEN TO

SCRIABIN: -I don’t even know what, it’s his day-

SCRIABIN:

CHALIAPIN holds a finger to his lips. (RACH’S, not his own.) 

CHALIAPIN: Ｓｈｈｈｈｈ． 

RACH: Okay. 

CHALIAPIN: Funny little boy. 

RACH: Oh

CHALIAPIN: So pretty.

RACH: Oh thanks-

CHALIAPIN slaps him MOLECULARLY.

RACH: OW WHAT THE HECK 

CHALIAPIN: *royal gasp* 

CHALIAPIN grabs his FACE. 

RACH: AHHHH 

RACH: SCRIABIN SCRIABIN HELP HELP 

SCRIABIN *running around blindly* I CAN’T DUDE HE CHAPPED MY LIPS 

CHALIAPIN: 𝕐𝕠𝕦 𝕝𝕠𝕧𝕖 𝕪𝕠𝕦𝕣 𝕜𝕚𝕟𝕘, 𝕪𝕖𝕤? Ｈｍｈ？ 

RACH: W-well, yeah- 

CHALIAPIN: 𝒴𝑜𝓊'𝒹 𝒹𝑜 𝒶𝓃𝓎𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝒻𝑜𝓇 𝓂𝑒? 

SCRIABIN Applies chapsticsk.

RACH: Yes of course, yeah, sure- 

CHALIAPIN: Ｍｍｍｍｍ． 

CHALIAPIN looks forlornly over the kitchen. SCRIABIN pets his lips. (HIS OWN.)

CHALIAPIN: 𝕋𝕙𝕚𝕤 𝕣𝕦𝕓𝕓𝕚𝕤𝕙. 

CHALIAPIN: 𝒩𝑜 𝑜𝓃𝑒 𝓁𝒾𝓀𝑒𝓈 𝒷𝑒𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝒹𝒾𝓇𝓉𝓎? 

RACH: No, no… 

SCRIABIN: I don’t. 

CHALIAPIN: 𝒲𝒽𝑒𝓃 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒸𝒶𝓈𝓉𝓁𝑒'𝓈 𝒹𝒾𝓇𝓉𝓎, 𝓃𝑜 𝑜𝓃𝑒 𝒾𝓈 𝒽𝒶𝓅𝓅𝓎?

SCRIABIN *awed whisper*:  This is crazy.

SCRIABIN: Oh, okay.

CHALIAPIN: ＤＯＮ＇Ｔ ＬＯＯＫ *karate chopping* 

RACH: *buries his face in his hands.* Nyeh don’t hurt meeee DON’T HURT ME 

CHALIAPIN does an intricate dance. 

RACH: Nyegh… nghhh… 

SCRIABIN: Oh waaaow. 

RACH *face in hands*: Scriabin! Scriabin what is he doing? 

CHALIAPIN: *flamingo position* 

SCRIABIN: It’s like. 

SCRIABIN: A modified two-step. 

RACH *from hands*: I’m kinda bored can I look up now 

CHALIAPIN: *through high kicks* 𝔻𝕠𝕟'𝕥 𝕝𝕠𝕠𝕜 

RACH: Ok 

RACH: *miserable noises* 

SCRIABIN: Waow, dude. 

RACH: *as CHALIAPIN breakdances softly* I’m scared, I’m scared, I’m scared…  

SCRIABIN: It’s like he has an agreement with gravity. 

RACH: I’m scared… 

SCRIABIN: Oh… wow. 

CHALIAPIN returns to his normal Stance. 

CHALIAPIN looks down at his FOE.

He RAISES a MIGHTY PAW 

RACH: Okay- OKOKOKOK, AH,  

RACH begins to sob. CHALIAPIN spins away, a bottle of Vodka in hand.
