Hi Tumblr!! I don't post here much, but this is important, so I'm reaching out for your support. I've started a GoFundMe campaign to help cover the costs of my top surgery. Me and my family started this process over a year ago but living in Oklahoma, my insurance has been refusing to cooperate with us and I've decided the safest choice is to pay for it ourselves without relying on insurance. I'll be working to cover as much as I can, but the cost is steep, and the sooner this surgery can be done, the better. Your support means the world to me, whether it's a donation or simply spreading the word.
To show my appreciation, any donation of at least $75 will get a handmade crochet stuffed animal from me after the campaign is done! With your choice of species and color, it'll be completely custom. Recovery for surgery can be a few months and I'll have plenty of free time to fill, so I want to spend some of it giving back to the people that supported me!

I realized recently I completely forgot to do an update on this! Many people close to me are aware already, but just in case,
I had surgery! We did it gang! A few months ago, actually! And I couldn't have done it without the help I got from this fundraiser. I don't have enough words to tell you how grateful I am for the people that helped, and for those of you still waiting on plushies, I'm working on them!! I have two that are just about ready to ship out!!! However!!!!
I am about to get really really busy (womp womp). In another update, because I was able to get surgery, I'm going to university! I'm actually typing this post up from my summer camp dorm room at school! You may remember from my GoFundMe I talked about wanting to work in emergency medical services. At the time, six months ago or so, I was considering paramedicine or some other pre-hospital field. When I started the process of actually getting surgery, like getting scheduled and prepared for it to really happen, I started to think about what I really wanted to do. EMS and things of that nature are still incredible and I likely will do some of it still!! I look forward to it!! But I had the thought that I wanted to learn much more than that and that my dreams are a bit further along. So, for the next 12ish years, I'm going to be studying to be a physician specializing in emergency medicine :)
