So we got to the venue around 4 and were hanging out for a while passing out the lightsticks and goods from our GO. Around 5:30 everyone started lining up to get their benefit wristbands, then after we got them we went back outside until doors opened. When we finally got inside, they kept us all in the entrance for a while before officially letting us into where the seats were, but eventually they let us in and it took me a bit to find my seat because my dumbass couldn't figure out which row i was in but I did finally find it and it was actually a lot closer than I expected to be (I was row B) and everyone that was around me in my row and in front of me were really cool and a lot of fun to talk to, and made waiting for the show to start really bearable (they were definitely a lot of fun throughout the concert as well, especially my seatmate)
When the concert finally did start, they played a VCR before they came out on stage and I swear when Beautiful started I lost it. They were so beautiful in person and they were right there in front of me I couldn't believe it. I swear I'd already lost my voice by like the fourth song (and it's now tuesday and my voice is /completely/ gone ;;;) They were just...unreal like I had to keep pinching myself to make sure I wasn’t dreaming and that they were actually in front of me. I can definitely say all of Monsta X are a million times more attractive in person. I think the member that shook me the most was Kihyun because wow….I already knew he was attractive but holy shit his visuals are no joke irl. They were so hype and their fan service was amazing and they made the concert so much fun. The unit stages were fucking great oh my god, From Zero is such a good song and starship needs to release a studio version because I need it in my life. 24K Magic was hella hype and it was a lot of fun, I was sad Minhyuk didn’t wear the overalls but he still looked really good. TBH most of 24K magic I was looking at Shownu because his outfit looked so damn good on him and he stole that whole stage like I couldn’t take my eyes off of him. Mirror was probably my favorite unit stage though because holy shit...Jooheon’s rap and Kihyun’s vocals just hit me so damn hard like? I almost started crying just listening to them and the lighting on the stage and everything...it was beautiful. After the unit stages they played some of their softer songs and when I’ll be there came on I started to tear up (one of like 4 times I cried that night) their vocals are so much better in person and I can’t get over how amazing they sounded. I think the two songs that were definitely the most hype and fun all night were trespass and rush though like the whole fucking venue erupted when trespass started everyone was screaming their lungs out, and it was fucking amazing. They performed the rock version of Rush and I don’t even know how to describe the feeling it was just...amazing. I had so much fucking fun, and all the stress and driving and everything was totally worth it and I would do it a million times over to see them again. After fighter they left the stage so everyone started to prepare for the ocean (they gave us little bags depending on what section we were in for our lightsticks) and it was absolutely breathtaking. I kept looking around the venue because it was really fucking gorgeous. They came back out for the encore and performed No Exit, and then the last song was Last Page and that’s when I truly lost it. I broke down, I couldn’t stop crying. At one point I looked up, and I was covering my face and I noticed Wonho was doing the same, but I was like oh it must be a coincidence, so I kept crying and kept covering my face and he was doing the same and looking straight at me, and he was making “why?” gestures at me so then I realized it was directed at me and I lost it even more. I hung my head and cried more than when I looked up he was doing the TT motion at me before he walked away. It was so fucking sweet and ugh I love him so much.
After they left the stage we were told to sit in our seats to wait for hi-touch and photo op so we sat there talking and just, freaking out over the amazing concert that just happened, then they finally had us line up to go to hi-touch and by now I’m panicking like holy shit I’m about to meet Monsta X they’re going to be right in front of me. We started walking towards the room and Jooheon was leaning over the table and poking his head out to look at us that boy was so damn excited and happy, seeing his smile up close was so satisfying he was really the sweetest thing. After Jooheon was Kihyun and again, I was so caught off guard by just how attractive he really is like...he was wearing glasses and his hair was pushed back and he was smiling and just wow….Kihyun is definitely the top visual in Monsta X in my opinion he is just….wow….he clasped my hand for a second when I went in for the hi-five and I swear in that moment I went back to trespass days and was suddenly a Kihyun stan again, but after Kihyun was Minhyuk and he honestly looked really tired...he didn’t say much and I know from other fans who had hi-touch he was pretty quiet for most of it, so I think he was really tired, but he was still so beautiful up close and his hands were so soft omg. I never noticed just how nice Changkyun’s smile was like his smile was so bright and I was caught off guard, he really has the nicest smile I’ve ever seen. I think the order was Jooheon/Kihyun/Minhyuk/Changkyun/Shownu/Wonho but it gets a little fuzzy around Changkyun/Shownu so I don’t remember exactly who was first, but Shownu is really fucking godly up close like wow...He is something else. Wonho was last and you could see in his eyes and his smile how happy he was to be here meeting monbebes and how much he genuinely cared about us. He clasped my hand and held it for a good couple seconds, and he was just so damn sweet I never expected to be this shook by Wonho but he really is the most precious and genuine person. After hi touch was over we were taken into a separate room to prepare for the photo-op, and they separated us into groups of 20. We all got into lines and waited for them to take us back to wear the photo-op would take place. When it was finally our turn we went right back to wear the hi-touch was, and they had removed the table and now Monsta X was just right there on a platform. We watched the other group go through, and then we were told to file in front of them. I ended up in the first row right in front of the boys, and I was right in between Kihyun and Minhyuk (I fucking died) and Jooheon was to my left. I swear I couldn’t breathe they were so close like right behind me, whenever I looked it was them, they were right there. I turned to Kihyun and I told him I loved him and he smiled and said he loved me too and I said the same thing to Jooheon. His dimples are so fucking cute up close and when he said he loved me too I melted at his voice. At first every time I turned to Minhyuk I couldn’t say anything, so before they took the picture I just kind of smiled and waved at him because I was really at a loss for words. After they took the picture, we had a few seconds more to talk to them and say goodbye before we were ushered away for the next group, and Minhyuk smiled at me and said thank you (he said it in Korean, I’m not sure if he’d heard me say I love you to Kihyun and Jooheon in Korean or if it was just habit but he thanked me) so I thanked him back, and I was going to tell him that I’ll be with him forever and I’ll always love him, but my Korean went out the window and the only thing I could remember was thank you and I love you. So I thanked him again then I told him I loved him, and he smiled really bright and nodded and said he loved me and by the time I had to move out of my spot I was floating like, I couldn’t believe that had just happened like...it may not have been many words because my brain failed me, but I had just talked to Minhyuk, my ultimate bias. Changkyun thanked everyone in English as we made our way through and again, I was just awed by his smile. Shownu was pretty quiet and it was kind of hard to hear him, but he thanked us as we went through and he was really sweet. Wonho was still holding out his hand for us when I got to him, so I clasped his hand again and by now even english wasn’t possible for me like I couldn’t get anymore words out I could barely breathe. He smiled at me and gave a reassuring nod, and clasped my hand until I left the line. All in all, this experience was something I will never forget and cherish for the rest of my life. They made the concert so unforgettable and the hi touch and photo op were just icing on an already amazing cake. It was a perfect night and I’m so blessed to have been able to experience it. Monsta X are absolutely amazing, and I love them more than anything.
