There was a laceration on my lower right back. The injury was quite serious. First-aid was applied but I can no longer feel the lower part of my body. This news spread to my circle of friends. They came by one by one, and the last person who came was him. He wrote something for me...it says “Mag pagaling ka..pakakasalan pa kita in 3 years time” (Please recover soon, i’ll marry you in 3 years time). Then, there was a mass held for me. I was assigned to read the 1st reading, but I missed it. I went home and saw the parish priest. My back was hurting so bad that I asked the priest to take me to the hospital. Little did I know that the person who told me that he’ll marry was there..he took me, but it was too late. I died.

Last week of January 2020...

It was a series of dreams about death. I was dying repeatedly for different reasons -

1. I was burned to death.

2. I got trapped in a building that collapsed due Mt. Mayon eruption.

3. I got chased and murdered.

4. I just died for unknown reasons.

This is part 2 of my previous post. Different story.

My mom and I were buying some stuff in the market. As we were approaching this new building, we were arguing if it is a regular hospital or hospital that is tailored to mum's and babies' needs. It was the latter.

There were a lot of babies that were displayed in the hospital. They were so peaceful. I told my mom that if I'm going to have a baby, I'll choose carefully my husband - "pipiliin Kong mabuti ang magiging Ama ng mga anak ko"

But she laughed saying "Yun ay kung Di mo susundin ang gusto ng tatay mo Para sa iyo.."

That'll happen if you will not choose the path that your father wants for you..

I already have someone in mind back then. But In that dream, I was already booming in my career.

I was supposed to attend a gala night. Choosing between black, navy blue, or white gown. I chose the latter. However, I wasn't able to get there on time.

Not from afar, there was this theater... A closed door ballet performance. I can hear the melody playing, so I just followed the sound. My clothes were changing as well. It has an additional of armor like sleeves.

Just right on time, I saw the ballerinas lining up and there was a voice over saying "only if our performance are open to public, more can view and love ballet". One of them saw me from the staircase and invited me over. I became part of the act.

In the reception, there was a change in scene. I was in my current age, but we were replicating the moment where I was in grade 5 receiving Top 4 award and marching for our recognition. I sat on the same place.

The stage looked smaller as compared when I was in grade 5.

When I realized that it was an event in my real life, everything turned pitch black and I woke up.

Two-episode Dreams - not related to one another

1st:

It was a gloomy day, like what we have right now. The distinct colors are black, red, green. My god-daughter, together with her mom, visited me. She was still an infant. But it was a favor that led them here.... She asked me to take good care of her daughter for good. I thought she’ll give me a package or a manual...but then, what happened was, I was the one who’s breastfeeding my god-daughter. I knew in my dream that I haven’t been married or pregnant, but in that scenario, I was already lactating.

2nd:

My sister and I were watching some Netflix series. In my dreams, i was preparing to sleep. The series has no title as well, but it was about ships.

As I was sleeping, I dreamed there that I was part of the series that we were watching earlier. My character was a curious kid who wanted to be a part of the ship’s crew. So, I sneaked out, trained and blended with other crew so I could enter this ship. Then, we got fooled and only to find out that it was part of a larger scheme - those kids who were in a ship were about to die. My friend and I was able to escape, so we were running, when suddenly it became a chase and murder scene. The captain was shouting “you will not be able to escape here” but we were persistent, not until my friend was the one who was about to murder me. We were arguing when a random stranger joined us and told us that he was sent out to kill me. Then I woke up from that dream, now here in the main dream, my sister told me to delete all the series that we have downloaded since it is not entertaining. Then, I remembered that I was being chased and murdered, then I woke up from all of those dreams.

I started to become aware on my dreams since 2012. It was when one of my professors in college told us that dreams are often product of our hidden desires. Seeing and remembering dreams (whether they are coherent or not) intrigues me. 

This interest in dreams further deepened when I joined “Jesus Encounter” in our organization. I am a Catholic, by the way. Have you heard of the gifts of the Holy Spirit? Well, I prayed for “Gift of Prophecy”. Why? Because of the same reason why started this blog. And because of how dreams are often used in the Bible as way of communication. I wondered if my dreams are just a dreams or if they meant something. 

Maybe this gift hasn’t kicked off yet. Or if I have any of that or if I deserve to have one. haha. But nonetheless, after 8 years of planning and failing to put this blog in action, my blog is here now and these are the goals:

1) to have a database of dreams - i’ll tag it to classify my dreams

2) to deconstruct my dreams

I decided to document my dreams to further understand my subconscious. I often get vivid dreams and I always remember them.

Some relates to current happenings in the world, some are heavy, some are light, some are lucid. 

But most of the time, I often found myself battling between life and death situations. Or often longing to the people who are no longer here.

I’ll narrate my dreams in vanilla form - no added story line or whatsoever.
