time travel sucked. it was a quick deduction, dark eyes traveling to take in the sights around her. the fashion choices found on the few people daisy had seen walk by spoke for themselves, giving her the quick indication that she was no longer in her own time.Ā āwell, canāt be as bad as last time.ā she murmured the words to herself in a sigh, before quickly taking off in search of anyone that could provide her with more thorough answers. turning a sharp corner, her body collided with another.Ā āsorry ā my bad, just looking for someone to tell me what the hell is going on.ā
hey there so iām jordyn and this is my angel, smol destroyer daisy johnson aka quake. iām going to try keeping it short but yāknow watch it be pages long cause i can ramble about her all day long.
ā ā isnāt that daisy johnson wandering the streets of new york? civilians know them as quake and see them as a hero. as far as i know, the 27 year old stands with shield and are rumoured to be pretty determined & rash.Ā
okay so daisyās history is a little ~extra so iām just going to do my best here and hope i make sense.
daisy is the daughter of an inhuman named jiaying and calvin johnson ( later known as calvin zabo aka mister hyde ). after she was born, undercover hydra agents in shield took her mother ( who had a healing type of ability that allowed her not to age ) to a hydra head named daniel whitehall, who killed jiaying. her father went after them, leaving baby daisy in the care of their village. he was able to bring her mother back from the dead but baby daisy was already taken by shield. cal, ordered by jiaying, slaughtered their village while hopped up on his home made drugs to give himself a type of super strength though it made him incredibly unstable.
oops that was long, lets shorten it up. daisy was placed in an orphanage and bounced around the foster care system her entire life. in her own words, she never spent more than two years anywhere.
the nuns at the orphanage, with no idea of who this little baby was, named her mary-sue poots. yikes. she took on the name skye.
she found she had a natural talent with computers, and dived into the world of hacking. or as she called it, hacktivism, believing she was helping people by breaking the law.
out of the foster system, she lived in her van a while and did her hacking thing, until shield put a bag over her head and kidnapped her out of it after she hacked them.
phil coulson decided to take a chance on her and took her onto his team, using her skills for them instead of against them and she began to train as a field agent.
everything was mostly going great, aside from being shot and almost dying, but she got to become a full fledge agent of shield, badge and all. then hydra happened and shield had to go underground with coulson as itās new director.
after a very long string of events, skye learned her real name and where she came from. she went through the process of terrigenisis, unlocking her inhuman abilities.
she didnāt know much about her powers at first and was unable to control them. it was an emotional time, so that didnāt help. eventually, she was taken to an inhuman safe haven away from shield, where she learned better control as well as meeting her mother, jiaying.
but we canāt have nice things, right ?? after being killed once at the hands of humans, jiaying wanted to basically take them out and have inhumans rule. cal, seeing jiaying about to kill daisy after a confrontation, killed jaiying himself. in order to give her father a new chance at life, daisy let shield wipe cal of his memories and start over. she keeps contact but he no longer knows who she is.
thatās really the important background stuff, daisy continues on as a shield agent, lots of bad things keep happening. people she loves and cares about keep dying. she gets in a rough spot and quit shield.
she was an unknown vigilante/terrorist ( depending who you ask but to be fair she did rob a bank ) that the public only knew as quake, making her way into the news and public eye.
once back in shield, they cleared her name but there are a lot of people that still arenāt such fans. sheās really not a fan of any of the attention. but her identity became very public and on the news so it was unavoidable. some people love her and others hate her.
sheās been through a lot with a murderer mom, and alternate realities, going to the future and hey now to the past so you can get an idea of how she feels about time travel. but hey at least here ( spoiler alert ) she didnāt destroy the world ?? so always a bright side
okay but really under all the angst and never ending trying to save the world shit sheās still that slightly obnoxious lovable hacker nerd and just like pls love her.
