Yo, I see sooo many conversations and quotes about "why" we love. Figuring out what motivates us is a great conversation to have, but I honestly feel like so much of what these "why we love" sentiments are getting at is capitalism applied to love. It's like being love, feeling love and being social creatures who need love are not valid enough reasons of their own; we hafta justify it. If we justify it with a reason, then we can measure our investment in it. Fuck that. No matter how dope someone else is, we ultimately love because we have it to give and are willing to radiate it.
