░░░░░░ ☾ “but the lannisters were going to be my family, and i could not stand beside them. i thought that i could, when i was younger, but after seeing what they were capable of…” sansa shakes her head at the thought. “i suppose we will be family soon, too. you can always use that as an excuse.” her lips lift in a smile. maybe there is hope after all.
she’s long since thought of herself as a MATURE grown-up, so she doesn’t berate herself too much when her cheeks redden in embarrassment. “oh, i – yes. that’s going to happen. i don’t know how i forgot, especially after cersei kept hovering over me, waiting for when i was going to be ready for it.” her blush deepens. “i don’t think i really want to, though. that’s nothing against your brother, of course.”
❝ Yes! Sisters, you and I. What better reason to continue speak when you leave for Highgarden. ❞ Margaery glances back to Sansa with a smile curling onto her features. She makes no comment about Sansa’s words of the Lannisters, though she fully understands how she could not. Perhaps Margaery would have done the same had she been Sansa, perhaps not. She hopes she won’t have to find out. She’s doing well with Joffrey as of now, but who’s to say how long that will last? Margaery doesn’t think on it too long before she’s letting out a gentle laugh, noticing the slight change of color upon Sansa’s cheeks.
❝ Don’t worry, sweet girl. It is a .. scary thing to think of, and no one will rush you. I swear it! ❞ A hand reaches over, taking hold of the redhead’sand giving it a gentle squeeze in hopes to lessen the embarrassment. It had not been Margaery’s intent, and she wants Sansa to be comfortable with her, with her brother as well. It’s the only way things will work out. ❝ Though.. You will have to, eventually, of course. Shall you want children. If you trust me enough to believe it, it’s truly not as bad as you may think. ❞
