Narry doll update: He is painted :)

I still have to finish gluing on his hair before I can work on the outfit, but he's completely painted now, so I'm super excited about him

Definitely gonna have to give him a haircut as soon as I get it all on, lol. I'm really happy with how he's looking so far though.

I'm thinking, since I already painted him, I'm not going to give him a top surgery like I did with my Figment doll, and I might just pad out his outfit a bit to make the chest look more subtle, idk. Well see when we get there.

Guess who has zero self control and impulsively made an RK900 hoodie for one of their dolls? That's right, this guy :')

My sister and I just got DBH on Steam since it was on sale, and we promptly played a whole run over the course of 3 days, pausing when I had to go to work. But anyways, we've been obsessing over it since, so of course I had to make one of my favorite character's jacket.

I completely winged this whole thing, so I'm super proud of how it turned out. I just used some other patterns I had as reference and then used my adhd brain to figure out how to piece it together. Got it done in just a few hours, and I love how the glow in the dark parts look. This gives me so much serotonin :3

Now I just have to make one of these me sized 👀👀👀👀

He has hair!!!!!!! :D

I kinda impulsively decided to do a reroot for the first time on him. It did ruin the face, but I just repainted it.

His hair is so floofy and hides his horns a bit, but I love it <3

It took a while to fill the whole head, which is to be expected really.

Anyways, he's prettyuch finished now, sans wings and tail, but like I said earlier today, I'm gonna get to those later. I'll also have to do a proper little photo shoot with him that isn't done at midnight, lol :P

Almost done!!!!!

I just spent around 8 hours straight hyperfocusing on making his clothes. I'm going out to get some yarn for his hair now, so I'm getting super close to finishing him. He just need his hair, wings, and tail.

The shoes were a nightmare and a half to make, but I did it. Also, I'm thinking of leaving his wings and tail for another day, cuz I still need to figure out how I wanna make them :/

But I got super far today and I love him. He's also super short compared to the regular dolls, he's so cute, im really exited about him <3

Anyways, I'm making some progress on Figment. I performed a top surgery on him and made him a bit shorter. He also has his face, horns, and sweater.

I'm not sure if I'll do any more today, but maybe if I'm feeling up to it tonight I'll make him some trousers. I'm gonna have to sand his ankles and probably paint them to match his skin. We'll see what happens later I guess :P

I'm starting another doll custom project.

I'm gonna make Figment into a doll because I love him and no one can stop me.

I know The Doll Fairy made Figment and Dreamfinder dolls and I kinda wanted to try my own hand at it, but with Figment being a little more male presenting.

I'm using an Operetta doll as a base since her skin is closer to Figment's light purple skin than Jane Boolittle in my opinion.

I've already started one the doll but with my work hours this month it might take a while to get it done. I'm gonna try my best though :)

I finally have something to show for this blog

I keep starting new dolls and never finishing them, it's a real problem. But I finally have one(1) finished! They don't really have a name yet but for the time being they're basically gonna be my mini me.

I'm (hopefully) gonna end up making a bunch of outfits for this doll to wear (and maybe some shoes at some point), but for now they have a little jester hoodie. Now I just have to finish my other dolls o_o
