A centimeter of cat

The fact that energy exists within the system at all is weird. The fact the universe is made out of normal matter means that there was more matter than antimatter. Why did the big bang happen? What caused it? Why is the universe still expanding? Why does light act the way it does? Why is the fastest speed anything can go not infinite? What does the hole in spacetime look like before the singularity of a blackhole fill it in? What's outside space time? Everything about the universe is so very weird...

Why does the earth spin in such a way that the sun appears to "rise" on the horizon? Why do we view it as upwards motion of the sun despite knowing it's the earth that's moving? Why does it happen at all? What causes these things to occur?

Some days it's easy to become too self-aware, and realize how strange it is to be sitting in a room full of people who aren't from your family or local community, because that wouldn't have happened when humanity first emerged. Sometimes you realize that there's really no reason the sun has to rise in the east, and it very well could've risen in the west. Or the north. And maybe in some other universe it does. Or maybe in some other universe, east is north, south is east, west is south, and north is west. Honestly the fact we can even hear and vocalize is strange, because there had to have been an evolutionary advantage to having those senses. So you could be missing out on so many other senses that you can't even imagine what it feels like, like being able to sense shifts in the earth's magnetic field. Or the fact we can only see a select range of photon waves.

Infact, isn't it so weird that I'm only in this body? That I dont know if other people are real at all? They could all be philosophical zombies. Or that nobody will every truly know the whole of themselves? And nobody will ever truly know the entirely of you? That we can only approximate?
