˗ˏˋ ° :+ .｡✧ 。ˎˊ˗    celeste had learned rather quickly that cheol’s visits weren’t a matter on IF he was returning , it was more of WHEN he was returning. beginning the habit of slowly collecting albums as shipments came in , there never failed for a pile of prospective albums that were just begging to be heard waiting for him. the shop had proven to be rather quiet today , only two or three customers passing through today. (( a book taken up in their free time , teeth barely biting her thumb in concentration before the door’s bell rings , the object quickly shoved underneath the counter , a faux customer service voice prepared before a familiar tone comes. )) ‘ never doubt the power of sunmi , or any other artist from wonder girls , quite frankly. they are a force to be reckoned with !!! ’ a smile coming easier , a finger jabbing the counter. she doesn’t answer his question at first , stepping out from behind the counter while waving at him to follow. ‘ i managed to save one copy of really bad boy & nct 127′s regulate. obviously , there’s more but those are going to be the ones that you’ll have a quickest access to. ’ a sigh while she unlocks the door in front of them that leads to the back. ‘ personally , i’ve been wanting to listen to exo’s new release && that new group iz*one. ’

˗ˏˋ ° :+ .｡✧ 。ˎˊ˗   as the manager , celeste had felt more than slightly obligated to go to their work’s social events (( one of which just happened to be TONIGHT , the night right after a rather large test— which left them with no energy to even attempt to enjoy it. )) so here they are now , making weak attempts at small talk with other employees , having to listen to stories of how their children finally took their first steps or how their significant other finally said that magic four letter word. is there any to make them feel less of a failure as a human tonight ? but they can’t justify just LEAVING without some excuse —… which might come in the form of an equally uninterested looking stranger. taking a deep breath , they approach the other , greeting them with a tap on the shoulder. ‘ you look like you don’t wanna be here either ; do you want an excuse to leave ? ’

THERE’S a new one. ’ it feels as if it’s been years that both celeste && @kshinae have been recording their podcast in the confines of her apartment , if they’re being honest. && dear lord , have they covered some wild topics. regardless of how much celeste believes in , it’s difficult to believe everything that they find on the internet. ‘ there’s also if the american government killed massive amounts of birds && replaced them with drones. but , the nazi one seems SLIGHTLY more believable. ’

˗ˏˋ ° :+ .｡✧ 。ˎˊ˗     with hands shoved in their pockets , they continue down the familiar path for their way home. the glow of store front’s paired with street lamps always created almost the same shadows day in && day out. eyes watch their shadow self follow them throughout the world ... but there’s now two much DIFFERENT ones. turning to find the source , celeste is confronted with a rather aggressive scene. && while they know it’s none of their business , they still stop to watch. they can’t say that they’ve been in his shoes , but they’ve certainly been on the old woman’s position && heard their friends going off about loosing their jobs this way. sighing , they’re just about to leave when they lock eyes with the stranger. ‘ yeah , i did. don’t you know not to mess with old women ? ’

(( celeste learned long ago that only the new-comers would attempt to fuck with him && as long as they were so obviously with him , people wouldn’t try anything with them either. )) whatever drink had been ordered for them sits practically untouched , the liquid inside simply used for a time killer as they swirl the liquid around. but even time killers can’t occupy their attention long enough ;; a frustrated sigh leaves their lips before they force the drink down their throat && they lean into his shoulder , lips gently pressing against his collarbone before they speak. ‘ this place is boring. why do we always go to bars ? ’
