Posca paint marker pieces | 2026
These and other originals will be for sale at MoCCAFest this weekend!
Find me at MoCCAFest Table 155 next weekend March 28-29th! I'll have posters, prints, postcards, zines, and some surprises :)
Hey there! I just found your blog on here by chance. I saw your name on an post recently shared by another blog on here, and after looking up your name and the name of the piece, it looks like it was mislabeled. @ pmamtraveller shared 4 days ago. The credit left was "Celia Lowentha - The Monstrous Countenance of Elusive Sleep"
I don't see your signature on the piece they reposted, so I'm not sure if it's cropped or if they made a mistake. I wanted to ask if you recognize the work cause I want to find the actual artist if it's not yours.
Btw your art is also beautiful, especially the one that blog mis-attributed to you! Whether mistake or not, I'm always happy to find artists whose works speak to me <3
Thanks for reaching out about this. This is my piece called "The Monstrous Countenance of Elusive Sleep," from 2016:
This is what @pmamtraveller attributed to me:
It looks like they used Google AI overview to attribute the work, because right now it is indeed confidently stating that these are the same artworks. A quick search on my part found another reposter on Twitter attributing this to a Seiho Suzuki, who does not seem to exist. But Seigo Suzuki does!
This appears to be the original work. I can't say for sure it's by Seigo Suzuki because I can't find it on a website or social media account he runs, but it does look like his style. It looks to me like the red signature stamp says "鈴" or "suzu," but I can't read Japanese so I could be wrong.
Editing of pieces (?!) and misattribution is very frustrating for artists, and given the language barrier between English-speaking and Japanese-speaking internet, Mr. Suzuki has no recourse to protect his work (if it is his work) from being chopped up and reposted and attributed to random American artists. If this was my work I would be livid. However, I am happy to find a new artist I can follow.
The moral of the story is please don't follow repost accounts, and definitely don't use Google AI overview to attribute uncredited works you find.

Today! Hope to see you there!
you may have like a whole host of these but I'd also love a digital copy of your Tam Lin zine!
( Also jsyk I worked in a comic store for 5 years and you are one of my favorite artists! The first of your work I saw was in the Jim Henson Fairies collection and it really blew me away, I've been following your stuff since then & I'm always excited to see what you do next! <33 )
Thank you so much! My work on Jim Henson Fairies has a special place in my heart.
If you have any leftovers of the Tam Lin zine, would you consider mailing them?
Probably not, to be honest! I don't plan on doing another run of it, and with just a few copies it's not worth setting up a storefront.
Digital version is my most likely solution. Thanks to everyone who's expressed interest in digital!
fwiw, I would absolutely buy a digital copy of your tam lin zine :3
Thanks, noted!
another person chiming in to say i would love to buy a digital copy of the tam lin zine!!
Awesome, noted!

Oh my Jesus I love your art, I cannot get over the way it looks. You are amazingly talented and I wish you the best of luck.
Thank you!
Just wanted to say that not so long ago I remembered about the game Strafe and found the amazing illustrations that led me to finding you! I am ASSTOUNDED by your style and use of color, just... WOOOOWWWW <3
Thank you! STRAFE was one of my first jobs and it has a special place in my heart.
Hi could you tell us more about your DND character I’m just fascinated by him… is he a clone or something or what’s goin on with him? Thanks
Thank you for giving me an excuse to talk about DnD!
I'm going to be asking a lot of artists I follow this question, but how did you develop your style? It SEEMS like most people find their style and stick with it forever, just making improvements and iterations. I tend to work in a lot of different styles because I enjoy doing that, though I know there are things I gravitate towards as well. But I wonder what your journey was and how you got feedback and improved while staying true to what you enjoyed?
I think working in different styles is perfectly normal. I do so as well, I just generally don't post things that don't fit into my illustrator "brand." But if you aren't trying to become a professional illustrator, I think having a consistent style is overrated.
This is a tiny Posca marker piece from 2023. This isn't professional work, it's just for fun.
Here's a comic page I did for Charlesbridge Publishing in 2024. I don't usually use lineart anymore, but I had to for the sake of expediency on this project.
And, on the opposite end of the spectrum, here's a fiber art piece I did for an assignment at School of Visual Arts recently.
FYI, looks like there are quite a few old unanswered asks in my Inbox! Going to try to answer some.

I just came across your work (I love your style!), do you have an online shop? I had no idea you made a Tam Lin comic so I’m really excited!
Thank you!
I sell prints of my work through my INPRNT shop! My Tam Lin zine was only ever available at MoCCAfest 2017-2018, and I'll be selling the last few copies this Saturday Nov 1st at the School of Visual Arts's Graduate Student Fair at 136 West 21st St. If you are in the NYC area, I recommend stopping by 12-5pm to snag one!
Over the years, interest was expressed in digital versions of Tam Lin and some of my other zines. I never had the time to figure that out and I definitely don't now! But maybe in the future.

I found 5 remaining copies of my 2017 Tam Lin zine, which only ever had one print run. I'll have these available behind the table for anyone who asks. If you missed out back in the day now's your chance to snag one for a discount!
