Feist -- 1234
One, two, three, four Tell me that you love me more Sleepless long nights That is what my youth was for
Oi vey,
I have a sense of humor, it differs from your own. Out of everyone I would think that you would know all about being different, yeah? So you are Irish, lovely. I don’t need a solar map to locate Galway. I’d need a regular map if I didn’t already know where it was. -narrows her eyes when the other begins scribbling furiously in her notebook.- No need to get into a tizzy, Celia. The first step is to admit it, you know. It’ll make everything a lot easier. It helps in the healing process, for sure. Once you admit the problem that you have we can move on from there. The thing about being a healer is that I know of herbal remedies, it is the foundation of my work and practice. Why would I want to be an apprentice to something and someone I don’t even know about. -blinks rapidly at the girl and shakes her head- I’ve not been bitten by anything.Â
You are the one that said something about fucking muggleborns, now you seem to be retracting all your statements. So do you dislike your roommate or not? You’re giving my mixed signals here and I’m becoming rather dizzy discussing anything right now with you. Maybe we should just be silent. Silence is good. Breath in and out. Good, good.Â
Oh, are you sure? You could convince me otherwise, I think you just need to lighten up a little. Being grumpy really won't help you in life. What you need is positive can-do attitude, which can be yours to buy for just twelve sickles! A rather excellent deal, actually, you should definitely consider it, and then maybe you'll make some friends. Nobody likes a Negative Nancy. Oh yes, I am Irish! I grew up in a lighthouse on the coast, it was quite lovely, though I wasn't very good at sailing. I liked to draw the boats though, and sometimes Ma would let me operate the lantern! Oh, I'm not in a tizzy, I just think that you're wrong, but I accept that you are an individual and have your own opinion to which you are welcome to have, and I can do nothing about, but simply because you have an opinion doesn't mean that I have to agree with it. Which I don't. I'm perfectly sound, thank you very much.
Oh no, at least not unprotected anyway, they probably carry all sorts of muggle infections having lived that way for so long, but it's hardly their fault and they're quite good kissers. I'm not retracting anything, I simply have varied opinions, and there is nothing wrong with being muggle-born, I know quite a few muggle-borns and they all turned out alright. My roommate? I love her! She can be a little annoying sometimes but she's quite delightful in her own ways. If you're getting mixed signals it's always good to sit down and have a discussion about how you feel. Charlotte, I'm sorry, but I am not in love with you and I apologise if I have lead you on in any way. I accept your feelings, and will do my best to help you, for it can't be easy being such an indecisive person. Should you ever need help, I will be willing to talk to you. Silence? Oh, I much prefer talking. It's rather good for the brain. Oh, you have such lovely hair, do you mind? -leans over and cuts a small lock off the bottom of Charlotte's hair.- Thank you so much, it really is rather nice, did you grow it yourself? -takes out her notebook and sello-tapes the lock of hair inside it on the page with Charlotte's name on, flicking through her notebook examining locks of hair and various other DNA samples belonging to other students- May I take your finger-prints? I'm trying to determine your character and fingerprinting is a very useful key to the heart.

Oi vey,
-frowns when the girl starts to laugh- There is no need to laugh at me. You don’t see me laughing at you, do you? I’m not a martian, though I am beginning to think that you are one. You know, I’m a healer in training and you are showing several signs of delusional and psychotic inclinations. It is rather quite disconcerting actually. I often work between classes in the healing ward to get some extra practice, would you like me to make an appointment for you? It’d be fucking beneficial, I assure you. -raises her brow once more at the maniacal giggling issuing forth from the small girl beside her- No. I’m not familiar with Bran. I know a Brandubh Aleister Thorne who as a particular interest in the sciences as I have noticed. A bit sketchy. Is that who you are talking about? -shrugs her shoulders, flicking her fag so the embers dropped to the ground in front of her- What the fucking hell are you doing? -steps back and jerks her hand away- What are you? I think we shouldn’t wait very long to get you checked out. Meditation is good and all, but if your mind is askew no amount of downward dog is going to help that.Â
No thank you. I don’t believe in them. They can be nice to look at though, just not my thing. Smell it? Annabelle, she seems nice enough. Do you have a thing against muggleborns? I see nothing wrong with them, I’m half muggle and that would be pretty fucking hypocritical of me. Well not many people pass Divination, it’s a rather ridiculous branch of magic. Some would even refute that it is magic and more of guess work and luck. Are you a prophet then, is that what you do here at the school? A gift? No. I don’t believe that. I think you are getting your damn information from someone else. I’m not an open book. You know much more than you should and I don’t think I like that very much. Fucking hell, I don’t like it at all. Can we talk about something else. -drops her fag onto the ground and presses her heel against it-
Oh, do you not know how to laugh? I apologise that I find it funny, but it's not my fault if you were born without a sense of humour, quite a few people are and it's nothing to be ashamed of. Oh no, I'm not a Martian, I'm from Galway, and I don't think that's anywhere near to Mars, actually, perhaps you should get a solar map, I used to have one but I lent it to McKenna Emlaer and never got it back. Delusional and psychotic? I'm not delusional or psychotic! There's nothing wrong with being a little different. -she huffs, scribbling ferociously in her notebook.- Â Oh, no thank you, I only believe in herbal remedies, and besides, I don't know whether I can trust you as so far you're really not creating a good impression of yourself. Pity really, I thought I could take you on as an apprentice, but unfortunately it appears that you are far too conceited for such matters of the mind. Yes! That Bran. Oh he's incredibly interesting. I think he might have the... -whispers- Third Eye. Hm? What's wrong? Did you get bitten by a Raxicorn? They're invisible. Pesky little creatures, are they. The best cure for a Raxicorn bite is banana peel.Â
Oh are they not? I keep quite a few in my room. I suppose I'm rather superstitious actually, but I don't really mind the way I am. Everyone's special in their own way. Oh, she's very nice! I lent her my Radagast card when she was ill, and she's better now, so I guess it brought her good fortune. Oh, no! I have absolutely nothing against Muggle-borns. They're just a little different, but that's okay. My parents are both magical but my mother was muggle-born. It took her a while to adapt to wizard culture, but she was always a bit eccentric so she fits in just fine! Divination is not ridiculous. It's the most important subject of all. That's right. Oh, you're probably just jealous because you don't possess the Inner Eye. There's no need to be envious, you just need to channel your mind. I'm trying to teach Annabelle. She seems rather promising but sometimes she can be a little dim. You are an open book, and refusing to accept so suggests insecurity and self-consciousness. What you need is to relax. Take a deep breath. -leans back against the wall, trying to blow smoke rings.- Perhaps you would like to talk about these issues? I can be your councillor if you'd like. Oh, I won't tell anyone, don't worry, for I have no-one to tell.
Oi vey,
I’m not an ice cream. I’m of mixed descent if that is what you are referring to which you should have said simply. My ears? I never thought of them like that. Are we comparing each other to animals? I think you are a mix of horse and mouse I think. Those teeth, really big. Have you ever noticed? How did he get three raisins in his ear? -leans forward to try and peer at what she is writing in her notebook- What are you writing about me for, have you been keeping tabs on me, Celia? That’s not very nice, why do you need to write anything down.Â
Thanks. -takes the fag and lights it up with a small red lighter in her back pocket, placing it between her lips and taking a drag- That’s an interesting necklace. Do you make other things like that? -raises her brow and blows smoke past her lips.- I am not a muggle-born. I’m half and half. Mum was a muggle and my Dad a wizard. No. We learned of more important things than wizards of the past. Hogwarts alum? Wait… how did you know I was from Beauxbatons?Â
-- Celia blinks uncertainly at the girl, unsure of why she was talking about ice-cream, before realising what the girl had meant and bursting into laughter. --Â Oh, no, you mean neapolitan! -- She said between giggles -- Cosmopolitan means that you're familiar with lots of different cultures. I, for example, am familiar with the culture of elves, and also most animals that I speak to. -- she giggles -- You're like a martian, it's so cute. Oh really? I have been compared to a mouse before actually! Bran said, oh do you know Bran? He's a little strange, but there's nothing wrong with being different. Anyway, Bran said I had rodent like features, and my animagus form was likely to be a mouse. Interesting, yes? Hm, I guess my teeth are rather large, but it doesn't bother me in the slightest. All the better to eat you with! -- Celia leaps at Charlotte. -- Â Oh I'm only kidding! -- she laughs, taking the girls hand and squeezing it lightly. -- Don't worry, I pose you no danger.
Oh, well, sometimes I just like to write things down. I'm rather forgetful actually. That's why I have to count my cards everyday, or I'd forget how many I have. -- Celia shrugs, taking another drag of her cigarette, and blowing it up around her head, amusing herself as she watched the smoke create little patterns in the air. -- Oh yes. I make all sorts. Dream-catchers, too. I can make you one if you'd like.
No, not you silly. I know you're a half-blood, I can smell it. Believe it or not, not everything is about you. I was talking about the mudblood. The one I share a dorm with. Red aura. Long hair. Doesn't know a Winged Herpingdinger from a Lebanese Phantylephant. Smith something... Annabelle! That's her name! Do you know her? She says she passed Divination, but I'm not sure whether or not I believe her. She wants me to teach her how to use Tarot Cards, but I think she feels it's just a game. She must first learn to appreciate them, like I have. Though she is rather sweet, and keeps her mess to a minimum. Oh, you are an open-book my dear! You present your emotions freely to others, and it makes you quite predictable. Though I do have a gift, too, and that helps quite considerably.
A Fine Frenzy -- Now is The Start
It's the sound of the lost gone found It's the sound of a mute gone loud It's the sound of a new start
Oi vey,
It’s German. I’m sorry I do not understand a word coming from your mouth. You know you really do have big teeth. Rude? Oh um. Okay. Woah woah, slow down there, Gonzalez. -takes the wrappers and tucks them into her pocket- Thanks. I really needed some of these. What is it you do with cigarette butts? I could give you some now if you had a fag on you. Who the bloody fuck is Radagast? I’m…My name is, Charlotte.Â
Oh, so you're cosmopolitan? How lovely! Really? Then perhaps you should try listening a little more and thinking of which rude remark you'll use next a little less. Perhaps you should get your ears tested too? Maybe you have something in them, I once knew a boy who had three raisins in his ear, and it was two months before he even realised anything was amiss! -she narrows her eyes, suspiciously, and pulled a quill from the tangled mess of her hair, scribbling down "Quick to judge. Rather impolite." in the small, brown journal she carried around, before popping it back into her bag.- Hm, I guess I do, but you fail to notice that for someone with such little hearing you have rather large ears. A bit like Dumbo the elephant, actually, have you ever thought of joining the circus? I once dreamed of joining the circus, it looks such incredible fun, don't you think?Â
As a matter of fact I do. -she chirps, pulling a small box from the inside of her bag and retrieving two cigarettes and a match. She passes one of the cigarettes to the other girl and strikes the match against the side of the box, her eyes lighting up at the appearance of the flame, watching it dance in front of her eyes.- "Deadly." -she whispers, grinning, before lighting the two cigarettes with the end of the match.- Mostly I make things out of them. Like this! -she sang, pulling a chain out from under her tie-dye cardigan. It was long and thin, and had lots of small brown cigarette butts dangling about it, a strange quirky necklace.- "Radagast the Brown is one of the greatest sorcerers of all time. Surely, being a witch, you should know that. What do they teach you in that French school? Shagging 101? Backchat for Beginners? -Celia tutted, taking a drag from her cigarette.- Clearly, you're not as promising an apprentice as I thought you would be. I will have to resort back to Plan A, and heavens knows how I'll teach that muggle-born the art of Fortune Telling, though I guess she is rather sweet, and willing to learn.

Oi vey,
Wer bist du? Have you been watching me? Speak up, please. I can’t hear you over the mumble. Wow you have really big teeth. What were you saying? Oh, um, I don’t really have a favorite. Mostly just yoga. No Creme Eggs are foul, but if you have any I’ll take the wrappers from you.Â
I beg your pardon, what was that? I'm sorry, I don't speak Klingon, though I am fluent in elvish, Suilad, belegohtar! I eneth nÃn Celia! Oh, do calm down, rudeness will not get you anywhere in life, young one, but worry not, I shall teach you the tricks of the trade if you should want to learn them. Blue aura, hmm, suggests spiritual depth and understanding, but also a pessimistic attitude. Hm, we'll rid you of that in no time, don't worry, you do seem like an appropriate accomplice. -Celia takes a small wad of Creme Egg wrappers from the pocket in her patchwork bag.-  Oh, I have no further use for them, so you may take them. I used to collect the wrappers and build things out of them, but they seem rather tiring now. Oh, how silly of me, I haven't even introduced myself yet. My name is Celia, pronounced Sea-Lee-Ah, I'm an Aquarius and I collect Chocolate Frog cards. I have 2,437 and I count them every day to check that they are all there, and I like collecting love-heart sweets too, you can change the messages on them if you have a pin. And stamps, and leaves, and cigarette butts, and sometimes I make collages out of the things I find. And who in the name of Radagast are you?
September 21st 2014
In the morning, there's a smell in the air outside that always reminds me of home. The smell of the sea, the sound of the waves as they wash gently over the rocks, the honk of the horn of a ship in the distance, the days on end I spent drawing in the Lantern Room, but it isn't a kind of sad home-sickness, it's a happy one. One that makes me smile. Oh, what peaceful memories they are.
Oi vey,
A week in the infirmary, not for classes but actual illness, reminded me to never skip daily meditation.
Oh! Such an honour it is to meet one who understands the concept of meditation as well as I! Welcome! Welcome! - Celia sighs inwardly, whispering to herself. - Hm, but what a pity she skipped her daily ritual. Clearly disastrous results have come of this, quite right too, it shall teach her a lesson. - Returns to her normal voice. - What is your favourite method of meditation, wise one? I personally enjoy Moon Meditation the most, perhaps you should like to join me sometime, do you like Creme Eggs?
Fear, in detail so I can downright taste it.
My biggest fear is crows; the symbol of death, and associated with Morrigan, the goddess of war and death. Every inch of them is tingling with evil and hatred. Every ear-piercing shriek a battle cry. Every talon a knife that could cut through my skin and rip out my throat. Wherever crows go, death shortly follows. I have never felt worthless or inadequate, for the way I see it, if I had no real worth then I would not be here. I believe that there is some greater purpose for each individual, and that fate shall decide the course of my journey. Change is inevitable. Nothing stays the same forever. People change. Life changes, but you must learn to carry on and do the best with what you have. Everyone has an area of weakness, in one way or another. Everyone has weaknesses. Everyone is vulnerable in their own way; some more than others, but vulnerability only becomes apparent when weaknesses are exploited, and weaknesses are only revealed when you can no longer be strong.
Chief: What are my character’s biggest character flaws/ego defenses? Do they succumb to self-deprecation, self-destruction, martyrdom, stubbornness, greed, arrogance, impatience, or all of the above? Which one of these traits do they hate the most?
Persona: What does my character’s mask look like? How do they want others to see them, and how far are they willing to go to uphold this act? Do they know of it’s existence, and do they willingly control it?
Shadow:Â If my character was allowed to act in the most selfish, destructive, immature way possible, what would they do? Is my character more likely to hide their negative traits, express them directly, project them into the real world, attempt to heal them, or just simply accept them?
Fear:Â What is it that my character is most afraid of when it comes to their own personal demons? Do they suffer from feelings of inadequacy, helplessness, worthlessness? Do they fear change, not having enough, being vulnerable, or maybe mourn lost opportunities?
Goal:Â If my character were to choose one of these as their ultimate goal, what do I think they would choose? The choices are dominance, growth, and acceptance.

- ...And that is why unicorns should be classified at XXXXX.
… and maybe another extra X for good measure. Not XXXX, as they are now.
Did you know that unicorns are actually extremely territorial animals, making them up to fifteen times more deadly than the average centaur? I've never seen one myself, but my father said that in his youth a child he knew got stabbed by the horn of a unicorn for trespassing, and he died! Personally, I think that they are incredibly harmful creatures, and not quite the beautiful animals most make out, though that's just my opinion.
Of course, there have been tests done that prove unicorns do in fact have demon blood in them. They might even be part werewolf! -opens her mouth and howls like a wolf.- Wouldn't that be amazing!?
