a tangled afternoon.

Maisy had spent most of the day in her pajamas, but quickly changed into a shirt and some shorts once she made plans with Celeste. The younger girl quickly tugged on her shoes before walking out of her room and seeing Celeste. “Yep, I’m ready.” She said, nodding her head as she held Cel’s hand. “Hmm, how about we get the drinks first cos if we get the ice cream first it might melt and melty ice cream isn’t really ice cream its cold soup.” Maisy said, not having much of a filter as she explained her thoughts.

she held the younger girls hand with a smile, slipping on a pair of sunglasses as they approached the entrance, “I like how you think -- cold soup isn’t really all that good unless it’s supposed to be that way.” She chuckled softly, brushing some hair out of her face. Even though she wasn’t really showing yet, celeste had taken to wearing more flowey dresses that would hide it -- she wanted her friends to know, but she wasn’t too keen on the press poking at it. “So where are we going for these drinks? You’re the boss here, honey.”

I have the sing along version. Oh, can we get strawberry ice cream?

that’s the best kind of version to have. Of course! That sounds absolutely delicious. 

I haven’t seen Tangled in two whole weeks.

two?! that’s too long -- we might need to watch it twice or watch again tomorrow.

Can we watch Tangled? Please, please, please, please?

I could never say no to tangled! Of course we can. I think we’ve got ourselves a fun afternoon planned!

Can we get a whole gallon of ice cream?

we can!! what if we get our drinks, that gallon and head back to the hotel and watch some cartoons or something?

Wanna go get coffee? Or that chocolate thing that Harry always gets me since I don’t really like coffee?

That chocolate thing sounds perfect -- not really in a coffee mood, which I know sounds ridiculous coming from me. Maybe ice cream too? I’ve got a bit of a craving, honestly.

Really? I can’t wait until the baby’s here.

I can’t wait either, it’ll be so lovely! I’ve quite missed spending time with you, honey! We should do this more often.
