“It would be hard to forget someone with such pretty eyes!” She retorts, though Millie never forgets much of anything. A strong memory came with the Star Settler package. Bright smile, but a curious brow rose. “... An autograph?” Had he mentioned being famous? “I would love one! But . . . What is it you’re famous for? I don’t think you ever told me.” 

“... Gosh you’re so sweet! I mean I guess I’ve been asked out, but the men and women in this place are hmm... A little mean and sometimes scary, but I can’t say I’ve been hurt! I work and give them respectful no’s. It helps when I can use working as an excuse, though most of the time they go on to ask others in the bar out, I assume you would do the same, hm?’ 

“Aw thanks! I ... ? I’m kind of working here though, and I haven’t the slightest idea what a one night stand is. Which after a few interesting experiences around here means I probably shouldn’t say yes.” 

“... There’s no need to apologize for showing how you feel, but” She’s doing everything she can to hold back that strong empathy and start crying herself, instead placing a hand on his arm. “Are you going to be okay?” 

The alien can’t quite put into words what she witnessed, but it took more than that to make her disbelieve! After-all she had seen quite a lot of exciting things in her travels, it was more-so the explanation that piqued her interest. Well that and the delightful accent, it was certainly not American. Bright smile, and pretty blue eyes land on the other, Millie already extending a hand for her to shake. Gaze fixating a tiny bit on the mechanism the other was brandishing before skimming back up to meet the other’s gaze. “.... Name’s Millie!”

“Absolutely!” The blonde exclaims, taking a short step closer to the other. A warm and inviting smile present on her lips, bright blue eyes wide with interest. “I hope I did not interrupt you? I simply wanted to express how contagious your grin was.”

The bodies were causing her to tremble, gunfire and physical violence she had sort of seen but not like this . . . Not up close. Her arms wrap tightly around her ribs and she gives her savior a cautious blue-eyed stare before noticing the little scrapes on his face and the human arm -- "I'm so sorry they hurt you." She can't help but feel guilty, after-all they were here for her. It takes a second but she reaches forward, placing a hand over one of the fresh cuts on his arm, sympathetic frown falling to her features. “I promise, I’ll repay you for this... But I think there will be more, do you know where we can go?”
