2018?

We both didn't have money to try out fancy things (he was a student at UP, and I was job hunting during that time). So I asked him to show me around the metro instead. We ran through train stations, trying to rush to the National Museum before it closes, but we got there a little too late.

"Tara, Fort Santiago na lang", he said.

We arrived there just when the sun was setting and stayed there until 12 midnight, way past the park's closing time. We just sat on the grass, talking, laughing, and listening to songs on my sister's ipod.

Then under the dimly-lighted sky, and the bright lights of the park, he asked me to be his girlfriend.

One week after, he took me to the concert of iv of spades.

Funny because if you asked me this a year ago, I would say: pogi, matalino , stable.

But now, I just want loyalty, character, and most importantly, unconditional love.... The type that can weather all storms.... The type that he is willing to express out loud because he's proud that he has me despite my flaws and insecurities.

I am kind.

I am intelligent.
