El Cedarino

It usually takes me some time to watch a show, I can’t sit down and binge twenty episodes at a time like some can.  Typically I can get through one season of about 15-20 episodes in a couple weeks or a month, but man oh man was I in for a shock with this one.  I finished Your lie in April in three days, I could not put it down for the life of me.  This Anime is so well edited, so beautifully animated, so poetically written that on several occasions I shed a tear.  Although many of you will probably be put off by the premiss (it being about young junior high school musicians) I implore you to look past it and give it a watch, I promise that it will be worth your while.  I honestly cannot recommend this anime more, it will make you happy, angry, frustrated, scared, nervous, and gut wrenchingly sad.  Your lie in April gets a 4.6/5.

I recently received a copy of the 1972 film Deliverance.  This movie had been on my list for a while, so high hopes for it kept building up and I gotta say man oh man did it deliver.  It's narrative tells us about how fun and adventurous the wilderness may seem, yet it may be too much to handle for some.  One second you could be having a fun canoe trip and and the next you could be raped by hillbillies, you never know what's in store.  All in all, from banjo battles to bows and arrows this is an A grade piece of film making. 

I have found that "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" has to be one of the best and most original horror films in the genre. Not only is suspenseful but also chills you to the bone.
