My lovely, kind, faithful internet friends! I’ve missed you all - so, so much.
First, I’m so sorry that I’ve neglected you all recently. I’ve been so deliriously happy these last few weeks, and I sort of...forgot about you?
No, that’s not true. I could never, never forget about you. You’ve been here with me, supporting me, though some of the toughest times in my life, and I can’t begin to thank you all enough for that.
But, what I mean is, I guess, that I have so much happening in my life right now that I just don’t always remember to open my computer or take out my phone. I’m enjoying myself immensely out here in the real world, and I wish I could drag you all out through the screen so that we could experience life together all the time. But I can’t, no matter how many wishes I make on all these lovely Scottish stars.
Which sort of brings me around to the other reason I wanted to write this post: I’M MARRIED! =D
Well, I was already married, I guess, but yesterday Algy and I got to share our happiness with all of our best and closest friends and family. And it was the best day of my life.
(I don’t think I’ve ever laughed and cried more in one day than I did yesterday!)
Jack gave a speech that brought tears to everyone’s eyes. (I swear Aunt B might have even shed a tear, but Algy is still a little skeptical.) All of Gwen’s hardwork paid off, and my bridesmaids looked even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Lacey and Drew held hands the entire night and were basically the most adorable things on the entire planet.
I only managed to trip in my heels once while walking down the aisle. (I lost track after that, though! =P ) Algy managed to smuggle our leftover cake onto our flight to Scotland.
What more could I possibly ask for? The only thing that could’ve made it better was if you all were able to be with me. =)
Right now, I’m sitting in a lovely little cottage with my husband. (He says hello, by the way! I’ll send him your regards, as well.) The sun is shining. The air smells sweet.
And I couldn’t be happier. (Sim-ply couldn’t be happieeeer. - See what I did there? =D )
I’m living my adventure. And I can’t wait to see what happens next.
