I simply lost the passion and joy this hobby once brought me ~2 years ago. I can no longer force myself to try, or to push through writers block.

…Strictly speaking, she had no right to board her house in Gil-Galad’s royal stables. But, he had not protested (seriously) and so Celebrían continued boarding her horse there.

She dismounted from her horse, cooing her praise to the stallion in the Sindarin tongue her father had taught her. The reins handed to a stable boy — who by now had become used to the liberties Celebrían took in Gil Galad’s palace.

Stepping out into the sunshine, Celebrían breathed in the trees, the fire of the leaves, and the bustle of the palace just beyond. Gil-Galad had sent her out a fortnight past to survey the borders, and she had returned with a satchel full of maps for his use.

“Herald!” She called, voice full of warmth and mirth. She did not recognize the other man — but she did recognize the colors of his livery, and knew what it denoted. “Where is Lord Gil-Galad?”
